C'mon didn't you think that our half back line was a little threadbare in 2005.

Wonder what will happen if there are a few more big losses like the Essendon* game...

i actually think its threadbare right now too....
thats the crazy bit

youd think with 20 plus hbfers we can afford to drop tuohy till he regains his confidence... but no
youd think scotto wouldnt have been re- signed.. but nup
no depth in that spot... unless u bring in mckiness or bootsma.. but weve tried them

we need to start recruting more hbfer types ... we need hbfer depth
all the other 20 plus have been given the boot or are about to be....

probably nothing because as u know you cant draft players midseason......and u most certainly cant use form fours to bring them from sa. wa...

keep dreaming...

Based on past events (Pagan) this club will give the coach the flick if they get a few thumpings in a row.

ok .... but we get players back soon effes

so i dont think youre going to see that....

everybody in the footy world can see we have 3 players from the last 5 drafts in the side
one of whom is rowe

and graham is seen as a lazy footballer who kicks up picks behind the ball and doesnt chase... as well as defensively unwilling to run... hes been told
thats ontop of the fact he lacks pace

thats in case u were wondering

i know u had big dreams for him.... but alas

as for temay... second round draft pick.... whos temay??

these blokes from the last 5 drafts are the guys that other cub have pushing through
the new blood in the list transfusion thats supposed to keep u alive

where are ours???

the jury is out on buckley... and hes a father son...maybe if his father wasnt an ex premiership player we might not have noticed him.......

menzel is the pick of the crop of all drafees from the last 5 years but needs to build up a tank.... thats why when YOU were asking for him to be played from the beginning of the game... he wasnt...
but because we have nothing coming through he has to come in for that full game eve if he cant

imagine him and cripps in the side at the same time??

yeah as youre gathering were abit stuck.....

but nothing anybody with half a brain couldnt see years ago..

list management and drafting strategy were going to kill us

So there'll be better performances then? What can we expect for the rest of the season with these players back?

I thought they're spuds; your mate Judd who doesn't chase, your other mate Bell? And your other buddy Cripps back as well.

Is Curnow going to be the difference?

They're going to save us? Mixed messages.

curnow is one of our better players

that just goes to show how we are

judd will win the ball
walker and armfield can run
thats about it....

u certainly cant call upon anyone else...

buckley probably wasnt 100% but we had to play him....
we couldnt play graham back there... with his paciness and defensive carefactor
watson at hbf to cover tuohy would have been a disaster.. when he doesnt even have the pace to get ahead of rowe at chb
maybe temay at bp... but nobody has even heard of temay.. just us in here cos this site sponsors him...he hasnt exactly put his hand up to be noticed by anybody at the club

maybe they will give johnson a game... hopefully he has something to offer....i know he tries.. but its hard to believe he will play 50 games of afl footy.
curnow has...

MM might be saying the list is crap and needs rebuilding in an effort to extend his own career
Which is probably closer to the mark than we would suspect.
I know i said this list can go all the way but in hindsight it might take a little longer so if its all right by you can you give me a million a year for another 3-4 years and I will win you a flag .
Doesnt matter if he gets sacked half way through because he is paid out anyway.
Bit like a plumber turning up to fix a leak and ends up digging up the whole yard " sorry maam the job turned out bigger than we expected "

Please No!

Surely given the position we are in and an opportunity to start again we can find someone very very good to take over as CEO. We need a major cultural shift.

I cannot believe we would give another ex Carlton player on the job training in such a vital position. Personally, I think he is lucky to hold his current position.
