Why change from our plan of having only 3 picks in the national draft? It's worked wonders for us in the past 7-8 years.

Id seriously look at swapping Kruezer to GWS for two of their kids. Preferable two mids. The reason why i suggest this is i think the club needs to load up on talls this years draft but we need to address mid field depth. I know GWS were mighty keen on Kruezer last year but the board rejected a move on that.

Kruezer has some value and i think we can try manufacture a solution where we get two GWS kids in for Kruezer and load up on 4 tall kids in this years draft.

Same. Reckon he's the only one on our list who is kind of tradeable and is of some decent value.
Work on BF (yeah I know) is that we re into Adam Treloar and Kristian Jaksh from GWS
Maybe Kreuz can be part of a deal for those two kids.

Nice in theory but why would GWS do it?

Kruezer is injury prone and they have Mumford, Giles, Phillips, Patton & Boyd.

..mummy is older and more injury prone, Giles is a spud.. ..patton and Boyd are not first rucks at all, Phillips I don't know of..

Not sure I agree and I am not sure whether we see him as a forward or ruck. I don't believe GWS would even contemplate it now anyway.

I think we would be lucky to get a pick inside top 20 for Kruezer and that's assuming we would trade him.

Can't see us trading anyone to be honest.

Kreuzer has limited value

no point trading as we won't get much

should have been traded two years ago when he did have value and when GWS were sniffing hard

if we could get treloar and jaksch for kreuzer you would be mad not to snap that up

kreuzer is worth very little to the market though - we killed him

We should trade Warnock and stick with Wood & Kreuzer

A deal with GWS for Kruezer was on the table last year but our board rejected the move. One of the reasons was they feared another Josh Kennedy scenario and don't wanna look the fools over again.

Mick worked on the deal to move Kriezer on but couldn't get it over the line.

Geelong have some good young mids coming through, they could be interested in a trade for Kreuzer.

..krooz still has to agree, and twice already has rejected moves.... ..so we would have to force him out, and that wouldn't go well..

..krooz is behind cos we pushed him too hard.. ..he was a player to build around, and I think he still is.. ..the softness of many of our players he does not have.. ..works hard both ways, puts his body in, has genuine footy smarts, good tapwork..

..there are sound reasons why he is our best chance at getting a good trade, and if we push him away, he will have a better career elsewhere, cos we have no idea how to build a football team.. ..push out kennedy, now push out krooz.. ..going in circles, and trading away our good players with heart, and keep our good softcocks that just let you down..
