Good quarter again. But should be much further ahead.

Teams with shit skills have tactics to free players up in the middle - so much space that even Carlton plaeyrs couldn't miss the target.

You train players to know when the kick is too risky and when it isn't.

Some players you give a license to try the risky kick; others you don't.

Mick is too stubborn to do it though.

Another rebound out of the forward line with no pressure

That wasn't a mark to Warnock but then it was no better than the one they paid to Brown.

We are 6 good mids and 3 good talls short of a good side

The 09-11 drafts are biting us in the arse big time

Be nice when Menzel's fit enough to run out a game. Haven't seen him get near it since half way through the second quarter.

The difference between the commitment of the players in the Collingwood v West Coast 2 weeks ago and that shown by the Blues players tonight and other games is a great illustration of why the Blues are where they are on the ladder. No desperation, lack of pressure, no gut running, not maintaining contact with direct opponents. Just not committed or disciplined enough.

Possession game is working ok for Melbourne, nearly rolled Port Adelaide today with their possession game. They've had a few upsets Melbourne; very interesting seeing how you can be effective with a possession game.

Comparing the lists that Mick and Richardson have though. You've outdone yourself again.

Yes they nearly rolled port.....
Yup....
We should do what nearly rolled port.
They're actually lower than us though.....
And all teams bounce around abit but they won't be playing finals though will they?
