padre you need a serious dose of reality.... those magic mushrooms dont do u any good

i dont reckon there is one person that deep in their heart of hearts doesnt agree with me
however the part of their brain that does the imagining is tricking them...

may i ask u when u think we might be a chance of a flag again?

we have never REALLY hit 50k
we have not been part of prelims for over a decade
2 spoons in the last 12 years
countless early picks
2 decades since the last flag
wont be winning one any time soon
list is in shambles
huge debt still
no prelim appearances in the last 14 years
not much coming through the grades
no leadership on and off the field
no innovations
an oligarchical club mentality that wont change

thats seriously richmond melbourne territory

Just turn your back on the Club, and walk away. Whats the use in continuing to 'support' a team that you think is a lost cause. It'll be an easy transition to rid yourself of this Club, as we're totally pathetic anyway, right ?

youll support them same as richmond melbourne stkilda and bulldogs supporters do...
thats how it works.... crystal palace supporters.. wolver hampton wonders...
those clubs always existed..... just we were not of them

ever seen the movie....... ' The Others' ?

thats what we are now.... and now we are... we just dont know it...yet

Synbad i seriously dispute that everyone agrees with you deep down. That just bs. We all can see where we are atm...fringe top 8. But to suggest that we have no hope of making up the ground to top 4 in the future is just plain silly. Sure its going to take some good additions to our list and some luck, something that all the top sides have had, but the change in culture can happen very quickly.

I agree padre. The improvement of guys like Rowe, Buckley, Casboult, Yarran etc under Mick this season has come as a surprise. All guys of which Synners didn't rate coming into the season, which means we're already ahead of where he had has as far as where our list is at. Murphy, Gibbs and Daisy will all improve further too.

All we need is a few more smokeys (like those mentioned above) to appear in our reserves and our turn-around to being top 6 isn't far away.

Hawthorn suddenly look old, Collingwood's void of a plan B if you can expose their plan A ... The swans are legit and Port and Geelong are right behind them, then it's wide open, imo.

We just need to keep weeding out the deadwood and passengers and keep improving and developing guys like rowe and cas and our situation isn't as dire as it looked after 4 rounds.

We could turn over big contracts like Judd, Carrots, Scotland & waite in the offseason which puts us in a handy position for incoming talent.

At board level we need to trim some fat, pump some money and effort into development & recruiting and follow the path in that regard of the successful clubs like the pies and cats.

I'm defo cup half full. After watching the sudden turn around of port, anything is possible with a few masterful tweaks and a little luck.

Improvement in Yarran?
Yarran went backwards last year. He may have improved but is he a better footballer than he was 2 years ago?
I doubt it. Same for Casboult.

..definitely, yazz was flaky, inconsistent, soft and timid, laaaazy.. ..a couple of steps back to undo bad habits last year, he is a much better footballer now, and is a chance to fully reach his potential.. ..never Would have before, was only ever going to be a highlights player..

..bolt is improving, if you think he has gone backwards, well.. ..I just don't low what to say to that..

Bolt was ok in 2012. Now he is just ok. Last year he was putrid.

Yaz has improved. Organic possibly. His attitude seems to be more grown up. Probably because he has.

..Bolt débuted late in '12, showed some good signs over a few games, but that was all.. ....'second year blues' last season, but still helped win us a couple of games.. ....this year his kicking is improving, marking is better, with improved fitness is getting more of the ball..

..yes yaz is maturing, but some of that is mm as well as just 'natural'.. ..the way yaz was before, and after that sub/dropping lesson of last year is stark, in my opinion.. ..more running, putting himself in positions to take body contact that he didn't do before for example.. ..still needs to improve and couple it with consistency, but well on the path..

Synbad - instead of talking like malthouse about a process as a solution. How about you download visio and put together the processes that you keep banging on about.

The circle object usually kicks off the process, the rectangle shape describes the activity and you end up with terminator as the end of the process. Dont forget to put the decision objects in :)

Take a picture of it and upload it so we know what process your talking about to solve all these issues. The synbad solution v1. If you dont know what the process should be then that is fine. Continue on like malthouse about processes :)

I don't care what happens, just get the bloody place right.

Hasn't been a better time in the last 10 years for positive change.
