Norwood football club?

Seriously. Ratten is the the next most senior AFL experienced coach on the Hawks coaching panel.

Bottom line is he was passed over on this occasion. It is embarrassing for him and for the CFC.

Come on, man, get it right.

Poncho.

How hard can it be?

It's this current board's fault, and a sign of the club's stagnation that the reliable poncho is overlooked for the kaftan.

They also over looked pagan, parkin and other former Carlton coaches. How embarassing for the club

Certainly stacks up a lot better than coaching in the EDFL and as an assistant at a lowly club.

Hinkley got looked over many times.

Keoghs mate Brendon McCartney, the best coach he has ever seen, got a gig and is in his third year and it still doesn't look like finals. Ratts achieved it in his second year.

Crap thread.

Mick loved the list. Didn't even bother changing it in his first year. Stars aligning and we get a flag according to Mick.

Judd played for Carlton. Recruited by Ratts and co. Same way Mcartney has Cooney and Griffen.

Now Bolton has the leagues best list, playing the best system with the best off field team and most professional club behind him. If Clarkson doesn't come back and Bolton doesn't win the flag then his appointment was a mistake and Keoghs thread gets filed with the worst threads ever.

Why haven't Gold Coast played finals since Ablett has been there?
To suggest one player is the difference between 11 wins/11 losses (2013) and 14 wins/1 draw/7 losses (2011), not to mention 25% is ridiculous. (in my mind at least)
Murphy was a far superior player to Judd in 2011.

We've become experts at making excuses.

..judd recruited by Pratt and swan.. ..cooney isn't and won't be close to his brownlow form 'over the journey' from here on out, griffin is good but not great..

..as for hawks, well drilled side will carry on.. ..however their injury toll would cause headaches for Clarkson so Bolton doesn't have a fit side or even a 85% fit side to use.. ..and the nature of why Clarke isn't coaching will also affect the team..

..suns are a start up club, even further behind than our spoon team at the time of the respective 'great player' acquisitions.. ..two years for Judd to lift us to finals I comparable to gas and 4 yrs for suns to play finals, they lack a Coleman fwd too.

..and the argument is Judd lifting us to finals, '08..

..murphy had a great season in '11, but not as good as Judd's..

Because the people at the top at the Hawks are good judge of characters and know a mans strengths and limitatons

Yes this guy cooked us for over 5 years

Says it all
So for this club to move forward and become a top 4 team get rid of every flower inviolved in the club still who had some involvement in appointing ratten

Because
Leopards spots
We are rogered with this board
It's that simple

You are such a tool it beggars belief. :garthp: :garthp:

Bolton has been with the Hawks for 6 years and spent 2 years coaching the BoxHill Hawks where many of these current players have played under him.

As the CEO says it makes perfect sense. Ratts runs the onball/midfield brigade and they felt it was just as important for Ratts to retain that role. Bolton rightfully gets the nod.

You are a very sad person.
Regards Cazzesman
.

There you go again
Getting personal
Your love of Carlton makes you blinded to reality
I love Carlton but I am a realist
What's sad has been our record over the last 13 years which you have been directly part of
Mate you just don't get it
Wise people get the right people to do the right jobs
Ratten is a good one on one coach but as a senior coach he is shit . The club you work for saw fit to sound out our current coach 18 months before they sacked Ratten then didn't turf him because we had our one decent season in 2011 so we endured a senior coach for over 5 years who wasn't up to it
Then we sack Ratten with a year to go on his contract and pay him and assistants out 7 figure sums of money

So that's a sad sorry tale
I'm not the tool
It's the people that run the club that are the hammers and spanners

Oh

I have heard your a bit of a grumpy bloke yourself
Me I am happy
Changed jobs
I am a PT
Also deliver newspapers in the morning
Happy with that one too
Got 3 great kids
Get on well with the ex
Have a beautiful partner
Have a great sex life
The golf handicap is down to 12
The band I play in is a ripper
Eat 3 meals a day
And have a great shit around mid morning
Life couldn't be better

How's life treating you Cazz

Who got judd to carlton is not the point. He was recruited with Ratts has head coach. He was part of our team. The team made the finals in Ratt's second year.

....and using injuries as an pre excuse for Bolton while trying to find an argument to put Ratts down is a touch ironic don't you think.
