Dangerfields brain explosion play on snap for a point was a big moment too.

Liked the jumper. Should keep that for the odd game as well.

At $350 the Agro family wouldn't mind seeing it a few times as well.

Especially when Mrs Agro sees the credit card statement.

daisy has copped alot from some of you guys... i suspect its driven by your blind hatred for malthouse... and that he is ex collingwood.nthat nobody else would want him only his 'dad'... absolutely pathetic and laughable...
not many of you thought about the state of our list...

as for the win .... it was a win we would have lost 2 years ago...
and teams win ugly.... but we cant afford to drop it

as for the coachess votes... bryce is top 3... gets alot of criticism from people like keogh... though hes been one of our most consistant performers over the last 7 years...
simmo and scotto probably the only two more consistent
the problem is frustration..... the truth is its not bryce thats letting us down... its the other early picks and second third rounders we have no yield from....
he would be a better player if there were more good players in the side sharing the load

And winning games like this with the list we have may have something to do with the coach

This is why he is overated. He has a habit of doing these things in key moments. Been doing it since his junior days and will never change.

Overrated?
Hmmmm.
I'd swap him for any player on our list.

Not saying he can't play but the people labelling him No.2 behind Ablett on the weekend I'd suggest should watch him more.

I blame Sanderson.

Clearly allows him to do what he wants on field, where he wants. Fair enough that there's a sense of empowerment there, but question whether he's got the maturity to match the ability, as his decision making is piss poor at times.

Plays on to Setanta like levels, takes 3 or 4 blokes on in tackles, burns better options running inside 50 every time.

At some point, he needs to be reigned in and played within some parameters of a team structure.

The result of that move at the start of the last quarter was that Jamo was our spare man in defence. I thought he is just about the last guy in our team that I want as our spare man in defence.

Exactly Woof. Sanderson went small in the last, trying to out run us.

Thought his running patterns were all over the shop yesterday. I put it down to him taking Talia away from the play to allow Waite and Menzal a good run at it because Henda is my hero.

We still didn't get enough bang for our buck though. Our forward structure was not that good. We outplayed them so convincingly at times that it was a pretty disappointing that our system was so inefficient when it came to adding to our score.

We have so many players in form that it is disappointing that we are not getting convincing wins.

..correct, smart coaching and real leadership sans ego from hendo.... ..he is obviously not fully fit, so we run him slightly decoy type, but as soon as they drop off him we hit him up, so he can't be left alone.. ..real team game, and never stopped presenting, still making space in dying minute of game to take a mark..

Hey club - guess what pal, I AGREE with this!
I also feel we aren't far away from putting it together though either.

Just watched the replay.

Best ever game from Rowe at Carlton.
Shocking decision by umpire suggesting Rowe defensive punch away from an opponent was deliberate. Shocker!

Would like to see him improve his lolly pop handballs but other than that he has improved out of sight.
If he continues to improve in incremental steps who knows what we have on our hands.
Same with Casboult. Every game he improves and learns.

The team is also improving every week too.
Gutsy win.

Er don 't want to put a downer on the celebration guys but wait until we are tested by a top 4 side. Adelaide are not that.

I was at the game too. They simply made more mistakes than us including terrible kicking at goal. If Dangerfield hadn't been injured they probably would have won the game. Great player.

But a win is a win is a win.

I think you're right.

WE need a bit more polish and wouldnt mind a Dangerfield type to add to the midfield. Bell may have the size covered but the class is missing.

braithy stated that 48% adl kicks went to carl. My concern is that i have seen car kick to opposition to many times in other games as well.We have to get fitter ,run harder, support.

Wasn't there another tap to get the ball over the line?

Best Carlton win for a long time

The work rate , intensity and fight was there for over 95% of the game

For the first time in a long time I am seeing development and improvement.
