gibbs and murphy were scared someone might touch them....

do watch it again and get back to me

scared..!!!.. petrified some contact will come their way....

watch the game ... and youll see it time and time again

thomas in the third i think.. when we had 6 tackles for the quarter runs at someobdy to make a hard tackle...

murphy flicks the ball away to make it somebody elses problem not once but multiple times
gibbs desnt go in...

those two were definitely scared last night.... scared to play a semi contact game.

Last night I took 6 x 10 year olds to the game for my son's birthday. The kids were quite funny in the last qtr, were screaming like mad at every Carlton goal and entertaining everyone in their vicinity. Clearly not great at maths, but it added some fun to their night.

After the game we were walking around the stadium concourse, had to get from MCC Members around past AFL Members to the footbridge over to the tennis centre, passing by the Ponsford Stand. The kids were yelling and screaming, carrying on about Carlton's last qtr effort....something to hang their hats on.

Outside the Ponsford, in the space of 50 metres, they were verbally abused by two drunk Collingwood women walking past, and then approached by two drunk Collingwood men in their 50's and again abused and told it was junk time, etc. I was the only adult, quite initimidating and pretty powerless really. Shocked me as much as anything.

Disgusting people. Abusing 10 year olds FFS. :screwy: :screwy:

The skipper was woefully shit and at his selfish best tonight.

First time in ages, years even that the midfield worked as a unit in that opening quarter - they blocked for him, they harassed Macaffer, they made sure to take a hit in the tackle to make sure they used the ball as well as they could and gave Murphy a free run at the ball.

Most of these passages of play were met with panicky hospital handballs or rushed kicks to avoid taking a hit himself.

Selfish player who is caught up in their own hype.

No room for selfishness in a brutal team sport..

We recruit servants and slaves to cover for weaknesses in our highest paid elite players rather than these players working on their weaknesses.

We openly said that Brock Maclean was recruited to help Judd out. Now we are saying that Daisy was recruited to help Murphy out and our leadership team because they are quiet and introverted.

Look at the basics again last night.

The possessions were shared between the two teams but our tackle count was the lowest for the year. Our contested ball was the lowest for he year and our. 1%ers was the second lowest for the year.

Couple that with slow predictable risk less movement of he ball in the first 3 quarters and you end up with 2 goals in 3/4 of a game.

And to rub salt into the fans wounds they decided to kick 8 goals in the last term, their highest goal tally in a quarter for the season.

Opposition teams may be weary of us before they play us, but they don't respect us as a team.

The hawks actually laugh at us. Now even the pies are laughing.

I don't know what the cats must be thinking before they play us.

There was one in particular in the 3rd quarter in the centre square where Murphy had to put his body on the line. Stood still and left it for 4 magpies to share. Grundy won it unopposed.

Murphy wouldn't get a game at Fremantle with his current attitude and approach to footy. That much, I'd be confident of. He'd be sent to the WAFL just as Colin Sylvia was, and told to understand the basic mechanisms of a team sport.

i cant believe we had guys on the field scared to play the game they have chosen as a career
some of these guys get paid over 500k p.a

lets call a spade a spade

we had guys running around worried they were going to receive contact

look its a well known fact that the opposition now were scared and they come out hard and we will fold
ask any member of any coaching staff around this country

murphy dives and is scared
gibbs is scared
theyre two marquee players

theyre worried they might receive contact

buckley isnt....

Reflected in our contested ball stat, the lowest for the year at 117.

Our tackle donut was 49 almost as bad as last year final against the swans

Our 1%ers and workrate were woefull.

Then we have our box out coached by a bunch of clowns in the Buckley box, and poor leadership out on the field.

At least Buckley showed some spirit

show me where daisy is scared.. one example...

i can show u half a dozen plus from that game where murphy either dives for a free kick or is shitting himself..

:yikes:

go cimm!!! give me the examples of fear in daisy...

braithy yes .. lucas was shitting himself... but we had others too...

you know... youre not going to get far in footy if you have scared footballers out there

gibbs and murphy were scared last night...

there is no gameplan that can cover over a timid footy team.

there is nothing that can hide it.... im pretty sure everybody saw it.. and they are going to get smashed week in week out.

everybody will know if you flex abit of muscle our boys will shit their dacks

Thats poor. They're kids, the game's done and dusted, let them have their fun and act like an adult FFS!

One of my least favourite football memories is having two male adult Essendon* supporters have a go at me when I was about 14. I bet they felt really tough picking on a teenage girl.

That's when you turn to your children, and in a loud voice say: 'kids don't consort with scum'

The unfortunate fact of going to the footy is you are exposed to veritable fruit salad that our society consists of - and there are quite a few rotten apples out there.

Pies got 5 goals from 30 out or less from dubious free kicks.

We had 2 pr three missed.

We also went back to looking lost.

They were the better side no doubt .

There's also no doubt what we are 4 or more players shy being anything close to Top 4.

Must have 3 more real onballers.

The umpiring was appalling last night. Didnt make a difference to the result but boy did they make some baffling decisions.
Very disappointing, we are a very mentally fragile team.

Pathetic Synbad.

Are you for real? Look, what you've demonstrated over the years is you have no idea about football. Murphy played one of the worst games I've seen, last night.

I don't know how it showed up in the ridiculous zooms that Channel seven does, but being there and watching it in all its glory, we saw the disaster.

Lucas and Garlett were worse, but Murphy was really bad. And between me, you and the gate post, I reckon he was good the last two weeks, but not as great as everyone is making out. Selwood plays like that EVERY week, injured or not, tagged or not, supported or not.

You just look at the stats and then say he played a good game. We should call YOU Doctor Strangelove.
