true. last time we described it as tightness he played the next game on the Monday night v Saints and tore it about 10 minutes into the 1st qtr.

no point risking that again - pretty sure his season went south from there.

bring in carrazzo if he's ok and perhaps a smaller guy for casboult if the weather is as bad as predicted.

If Carrazzo, Ellard and Yaz are all fit, please drop Casboult & Lucas. If that happens we're a good chance.

Can't drop Casboult. We need a 2nd ruckman. Plus he did ok around the ground.

Casboult doesn't win alot of taps but he takes marks, Warnock wins alot of taps but doesn't do alot of anything else. One one hand, nice variety but a combination of both their strengths would be handy.

Reckon we shouldn't risk Yazz.
Last time we did was a disaster.
If we bring our A game on Friday night, then you never know what can happen against this mob. We need Warnock to stand up against their relatively young and inexperienced rucks, and our mids to do the right thing.
Massive test, but at least now the boys will have some self confidence and belief in their own ability.

Fair call RE Yazz's hammy issues

Have to hope club get it right

Fasolo and Young out I believe

Coll vs Carl games often don't go according the script so we are a chance

I'm really excited about this Friday night. I'm not wetting myself, but I'm close.

They better not lay an egg with heartlessness. I can handle losing, but can't handle not having a dig.

I have absolutely no doubt Collingwood plan to do to us what Essendon* did to us only a few short weeks ago. They plan to smash our new found confidence with an almighty hammering worse than what Essendon* did to us. Collingwood will be primed for this match against us. MCG, packed house, the perfect setting for a slaughter.
If ever we needed our A game, this is it. The win against the Eagles was notable in that we grasped our opportunity and went for it. Lucky for us they didn't shoot straight and we did. But Collingwood are a different animal altogether and anything but our A game will not be pretty by final siren.

Yeah it may be one of those anything can happen on the night kind of games, but I must be weary as we've strung two together on the trot, and if history is anything to go by, we may well serve up a disaster of titanic proportions. Of coarse we can say injuries haven't been kind to us, and there's only so much we can do with the cattle we have. But a primed Collingwood, in some form, and our list that is currently still finding itself? Its seems like a recipe for disaster to me.

I hope I'm horribly wrong. But looking at it without my blue glasses on, I can't see how in the world we'll beat them. If we show an inch of lazy football, it will make the Essendon* game look like spring time at the park. Collingwood love nothing better than to smash Carlton - this much is fact. We've managed to string a couple of solid wins together, hooray at last, but I got the heebie jeebies about this one. Surely the last two weeks have taken a toll on the group? We should be able to rest players, especially the younger types, but due to injuries we're patching up holes on a dodgy ship I fear.

I wouldn't go putting my hard earned on Carlton this week. I hope Carlton win, but to hope is free, hard earned cash? Uh uh, not this black duck.

Carn the blues - make me wrong!

I think we are more up and going than we were when we played Essendon* so I wouldn't expect another hiding.

Last 2 games we have ran out well and we are playing with a lot more energy and enthusiasm than rounds 1-4.

Monday night and the Blues website is still sipping champagne? Get the mind on the job ASAP Mick.
Is Young definitely out? Either way want to see preparedness from the first siren and willingness for 4 quarters....lose and I don't care, so long as that happens. Go Blues
