Of all our forwards, why is it the worst kick that is the most determined to have a shot? tuohy or Yaz should run past for the handball. Every. Single. Time.

I think the opposition would catch on to that pretty quickly

Lets hope the players understand we have a lot of improvement still and on Friday night the hung over rock stars don't turn up.

Collingwood are very evenly spread in maturity and ability. We've got them covered for average age, but we're not nearly as well drilled.

This is an old MM team v a new MM team. It'll give us a good idea of where we're at and where we need to be.

The reason we managed to claw back last night was because blokes like Tuohy, Jeffy, Hendo etc all finished off their work with steadyin goals. The Eagles young side couldn't do the same under pressure. Unfortunately Collingwood won't crumble like the Eagles.

yeah, but Dukey, we were undermanned.
unfortunately we still will be.
extra experience with Carrots will be a plus.

apply the pressure and lets see if they will crumble or not.

of course theyre not going to crumble without us applying the pressure and extracting effort

I wanna see this become a stress test.... one of the two will crumble.

Lets see if the last 2 weeks means anything. Lets see what we have learnt. And lets find out how far collingwood have advanced.
But before anything is tested... full effort required.
Rowe is pretty shit... but hes doing the one or two things asked of him ... but he is playing with effort.
Collingwood teams were never the most polished... but they play with the required amount of effort.
A case in point is Daisy in the last.... he knows whats required .
Tthe others need to notice and follow

I believe it's possible, but we did see the boys retreat a few times yesterday.
Such a shame no Bell and Curnow.
Maybe Ellard for Lucas?
I like Davey.

I don't know how Docherty went yesterday but must be close to replacing Yarran. Will add something to our ball use and run out of defence when ready. Tuohy must be under pressure as well.

Hopefully Carrots and Ellard are okay but would be concerned having them and McLean in the one side at the MCG. Probably rules out Graham as well. Will Cripps come back after a rest?

If Menzel can start getting consistent game time I see him stepping up. Looks fitter and ready to have a more consistent impact.

Docherty for Yazz should happen unless they plan on bringing both Cachia & Carrots in to tag two of Pendles, Swan & Beams.

Difficult match, Collingwoods talent is spread evenly across the whole team, it's not just a matter of stopping 2-3 players.

If Jamie Elliott kicks a bag again I'll spew.

As much as I want to see Docherty play I hope they don't do a Cripps and send someone 2 months away from match fitness.

Last thing I read was that he was not a fit as Cripps.

Kids should debut when fit or when the team can carry them. That's not the case.

Mick seems pretty sure Yazz will be ok. See how it pans out

I think we are a huge chance

Mick will be keen as mustard to get a win over Coll as will Daisy

Carrazzo in would be nice

spot on, if he had of kicked those two you would say it was one of his better games. his work in the ruck is very handy as well (even though we got smashed in the rucks)

same again, come with the same effort against the dogs/eagles and we are a chance. pressure then, use the ball well, take your opportunities etc..

It is what he does to the team when we dont have the ball that is the worry.....apart from his goal kicking.

Marking is all he does to AFL level.

He has to play though because Rowe is a backman.

The pies played pretty rubbish for 40 mins the other day. Maybe they can extend on that. They are a good side though and a lot more likeable since Daisy and Strangelove left.

If yarran is unavailable, arm field might be a good inclusion as a run with player - pace, hardness, plenty of GnD, and a willingness to take the game on.

his mark on the wing is what released murphy to run down the wing for the match winner :smoking:

docherty has played 3 vfl matches and performed in all of them, he is fit and ready..
hopefully carrazzo is fit, play him as a tagger/run with only, thats all he can do...
would like too see,
simpson jamison buckley
tuohy rowe walker
thomas carrazzo scotland
everitt henderson gibbs
garlett waite menzel
warnock murphy mclean
I/C; robinson white casboult
sub; docherty
out's; yarran [inj], lucas
in's; carrazzo, docherty
-can holman take mclean's or Robinson's spot???
-if carrazzo doesn't get up maybe cripps or ellard comes in..
-buckley and menzel must start, not subs, both have pace and skill to burn..
-carrazzo runs with pendelbury and tuohy can run with swan..

Really.

Reports say he's short of a gallop.

Cripps had some BOG's and was cooked in 1.5 1/4's. If we'd played Cripps yesterday instead of Brock, what happens.

The Collingwood swarm was working beautifully against the Bombers, scary even.

No half fit players will make it, can't carry anyone.

Maguire is a Wolf in Sheeps clothing.Gives in one hand and takes in the other.Detests us with a venomous passion but hides it cunningly.Listen to him call the game last night.QQuestions every free for and against us.Did everything but openly barrack for the Eagles, ably backed up by his stooge Dwayne Russell..........................Maguire is nothing but a sneaky sly sewer rat who would give up his own mother to save his own reptile like skin.
