Thank you Carlton for the perfect Birthday present :gift: :thanks:

Carltonians in Bondi blew the roof off!

The inclusions all a success. Brock!! Garlett possessed with 3!!!
The kids Buckley and Menzel are hot. The future and Yazz was great in the 1st half.

Warnock was better than last week IMO.
Would love to see him ruck in tandem with Kreuzer against the 3 WCE ruck men.

Back line was such a cohesive bunch. Jammo Walker Tuohy.
Best game ever fro Rowe. Ever.

22 contributors. I'm starting to trust.

Bring on the Pies.

Waite, Garlett, McLean have all been dropped and when recalled have performed much much better.
And Bucks and Menzel with the last two goals #thefuture

Mick was poor again today. We made some wrong positional changes and tactics whence got those two lhandy leads in the 1st and 2nd quarters.

Simpson as a rookie coach clearly took the points today in the box.

If the eagles hadn't kicked 1 goal 8 behinds in the final quarter whilst we nailed our chances it would have been a comfortable eagles win away from home. And they hit the post twice in the dying minutes.

Just because we win doesn't mean the coach has reformed well. And he reverse is true as well.

I was a bit dissociated in MM today

and if your grandmother had balls shes be your grandfather,

that has everything to do with being daring and wc crumbled.
we didnt wanna lose and we threw what we had at them.. it might not be a massive amount but on this day it was enough....
thats all u want from your team

we miss goals sometimes too... today we were better... we fought it out.
we ran as hard as we could.. and the kids took their chances.
murphy led
gibbs etc followed
warnock battled his guts.
another day with a player going down....

a couple of years ago,... carrazzo coming off meant they didnt think they can win any games ...

but again they must back it up next week.
collingwood arent brilliant.

just beat the teams around u... thats all u can want

next week... find a way to win again... losing is not an option...

2 lazy efforts that cost us 2 goals.....

not intense enough generally...

never breaks the lines.....

Oh sorry must of missed it as I was to busy watching all the good stuff he did. Did you miss the run down and tackle of Shuey. Go back to you Sticks doll for the evening and stick pins it.

Robbo almost lost it for us when he couldn't kick a 20 m pass to Menzel. They cleared it and almost got a goal.

Also Waite went dwn back in the dating minutes and also stuffed 2 kicks up.

We still have poor kicks in the team under pressure...

Good to see the youngsters Buckley and Menzel nail their goals in he final term

Without trying to be negative, I would have loved carlton to b able to ice the game in the last 2 mins like a professional team, instead it was more panic and calamities, which gave wce 3 shots to win it. I still enjoyed the win tho of course.

I've been a basher of Rowe, but he has been seriously good the last two weeks. I would still be amazed if he makes it, but good on him for giving it a hell of a shot.

2 turnovers that cost us goals as well

But he did redeem himself with 11 tackles and some good blocking for Murphy

Winning anc competing are a habit
We wre never going to ice that game because to know how to ice means u know how to win... were still learning how to win.
Thats why we dont win more than 3 or 4 games in a row.
Long way to go... but dont let the next one slip.... theyre crap

Has anyone noticed Yarran quietly turning into a very good footballer?

It's his work without the ball that's suddenly impressing this year. Chasing, tackling, closing down options. And when he gets the ball he's as exciting as ever. Several goals came out of his creativity through the middle tonight. Up there in the best for the 1st half if you ask me. Hope the injury is nothing serious because he needs to keep this form momentum going.

Also wanted to give some props to Rowe, who stood up and played his role of killing the contest very well tonight. Good on you son. However, it really stood out being at the game how terrified he is to have the ball kicked to him. It was obvious a few times he was trying to hide as opposed to create an option coming out of defence. This made the switch hard to execute when it might have been on, and forced long kicks down the line instead. It's probably just a confidence thing, but if he can get that right there may be another year or two in blue to come for Rowe

there are alot of teams in the middle... lets say were a middle tier team.... try and beat all of those around us.. and below us and you get the knack of winning... then build upon that.
if you have that mentality youre pretty much finals bound...
if youre mentally/ weak / insipid/ fragile.. well you will be humiliated

Collingwood are another team around us like WC.
Find a way to win... losing is not an option... grow sme balls and make it 3 in a row

Great come from behind win, thought we were gone for all money.
Good to see our last goals coming from 2 young players.
Still some terrible skill errors but got the win.
Happy birthday bondiblue.

Spot on. Didn't use it well at all tonight, but his defensive efforts mitigate against too much criticism IMO. Mistakes are understandable, laziness is unforgivable. He wasn't lazy.

So Yarran has a hamstring? That's what they are saying. I hope not.

What a fantastic win!! The atmosphere when we hit the front was amazing!!
