Not saying the kid can't play or saying he has no future, I mean there's something to like for sure, but fair dinkum he woe be the most over hyped player for a long time, it's as if he's a God going by the belly aches at TC when he's not selected

Judd was sub last week but was named on the ground. Sub doesn't have to come from bench.

But I do have a feeling it will be Menz :(

I'm hoping Scotland or Robinson. Really don't like the younger players as sub, doesn't do anything for their development

Mick said in his weekly video that Graham was a shoe in to play this week, it's just strange that he isn't. I don't think it's because mick doesn't rate him.

There could be many reasons why Graham isn't playing. He could have an injury concern, there might be something that MM believes he needs to work on that we can't see, they might not want him to play as a sub and are waiting for the right role which didn't come this week etc etc..

Doesn't mean MM doesn't rate him.

Menzel strikes me as the kind of player who only needs 15 or so a game to be damaging. Doesn't make him the ideal sub IMO.

Why?

IMO it's all about attitude. If we have the effort of last week I think we will win. WCE are no better than the Bulldogs.

My only concern is the loss of Curnow, Bell & Ellard. The replacements aren't as good.

White and McLean worry me would prefer Watson and Buckley.

White's disposal is woeful, McLean struggles to cover the ground.

Watson's kicking is excellent and Buckley could exploit the Eagles lack of pace.

Glad Menzel is playing.

It's about being transparent.

The problem is, I just don't see much of a future with the side named each week. An occasional win bolstered by the same small handful of players each game just won't cut it. We won't suddenly turn into a contender with the players we have.

If history is any indicator this group will be content with the effort from last week and come out half arsed this week.

Yep. Up to the coach though to get this right.
Ratten couldn't but would have expected an experienced coach to do better.

Here's hoping the Aust. Network continues on to provide the same viewing in the years ahead.

Having an awful back pain today and need to make a decision if I go or not...... Will try some pain killers and see how I go. Just hope we out in an effort. Been concerned about the very self satisfied attitude around the club due to 1 win.

Agree here with either of these 2 as the sub for today (though still happy for Robbo to be a late withdrawal and back via the NB's). Would welcome Scotland to play the sub role for the majority of the year if need be.
Don't think we play the sub rule well at all.
