How is Tuohy getting a game at the moment?

His form has been horrible this year so far. I loved his form of last year.

Yep, it's a fair point, Tuohy has been ordinary at best but so have most of the team. Maybe Docherty will replace him when he is ready to go...

Great news to hear Brock has fallen out, he should never have been in the navy blue in the first place, a washed up self entitled fool who continued to bring us down time and time again. his only purpose was to raise his profile so people knew he was alive. get the kids through who will have a real crack and not feel they are the messiah and are entitled to be picked week in week out like Brock.

Without him we will be alot better off

DOGS WITHOUT A BONE(R)
Western Bulldogs coach Brendon McCartney was left reeling after his sides failure to put away Carlton by the regulation 5 goals. "It's back to the drawing board" he said after the win, leaving the Dogs with some work to do to make the Finals. " I wouldn't use the term embarrassed, but it's close".
Meanwhile Mick Malthouse pointed to this as further proof his game plan of breaking the oppositions spirit through our own ineptness was working." Nobody likes to see that" he laughed.

Im not a Brock fan for a couple of reasons, but I was really rapt for him and the selectors when he returned to the Seniors at the end of Rattens reigh and play well.

He played more than well. He was in the best week in week out, and took that form into the 2013 season.

During the NM practise game this year I was watching the game with fellow TCer and he knew I wasnt a fan, and asked why. I thought he was known for his hard ball gets and I couldnt see that. I thought Brock was more of a receiver and spread well giving us a linking option. This was good given we need that sort of experience to create the team cohesion, because kids couldnt do it, and that's a tick for Brock but hard nut at the ball he was not IMO. Then all of the sudden Brock gets 3 clearances in a row out of the centre. So much for much for being a receiver...in that game. By end of first half he had accumulated 15 possessions by stealth.

Im still not convinced Brock is the future because he's too slow for the modern game and for a bloke who is a pretty accurate shot at goal, he's missed too many easy shots for my liking of late. For a bloke who is still mid 20's young, perhaps he has ppeaked...but we've suggested that before.

Hoolio, I think yoou're too harsh and scathing. Calm down with the personal attacks and tell us which young kids bring what to the team that Brock doesn't. Frankly II think some of the kids, you might suggest arent going to make it. I like Cripps in though.

As for Brock,he should be greatful MM didnt cut him from the llist at the end of 2013 because Brocks papers were stamped in 2012.

Now lets see what the midfield can do to help us win over the dogs.

Are Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Thomas and docherty formiidable enough to oovercome the desire and desperation, let alone cohesiion of the young pups? Interesting times ahead. Big names reputations oon the choppiing block.

Sad to see the Dogs along with the Saints see us as the easy beats...Demons did!

Was mentioned to me at the game last week by a Melbourne person who knows Brock fairly well. I didn't take but notice but it maybe true.

Whatever the issue I can't see him being at the club next year

I'm all negatived out......so just looking for an improved effort, and the guys playing for each other. Hope Mick frees them up to take the game on and play instinctive footy for the rest of the year. The re-builds starts at season's end, and I'm tipping a new game plan to be part of that rebuild.

Rowe on last chance you'd think. Would like to see Jeffy given a chance to make amends for his poor form. Good to see Cripps get another one

Brock's not in because he is yet another basic slow midfielder, and behind Ellard, Curnow, and Bell. Whatever his relationship with MM, he shouldn't play again because get we have 3 guys ahead of him and we only need one of the Brock type. Waste of a first round draft pick. We got 30 -40 reasonable games from him, instead of a potential 250 gamer. A symbol of the decision making and dealing that have laid us low. Not his fault, bad deal by club.

If Juddy is half fit he is worth any 3 players in our team. Makes us a chance to win. Not sure what Waite did to get back. Lack of alternatives I guess.

At the very least will be excited to see what Cripps and Bell can do together in the midfield

Looks like the Dogs are planning to run us off our feet.
And they probably will.

Don't mind that Brock missed out but don't understand the antipathy. Thought he was admirable the way he fought back into the team and performed well after so long in the twos a year or so ago. Obviously since then his form has slipped. Think he made the most of his abilities but hope we find an explosive midfielder one day...or one who always seems to have poise and space to hit targets (thought Gibbs was going to do that...)
Just want to see some effort, desperation, marks on leads inside 50, skill, straight kicking for goal, tackling, tap outs to our players, shepherding, chasing, fitness, intelligent decision making, multiple forward options, blocking, supporting each other.....just those sorts of things...
