I guess everyone including Strangelove were happy with the list and all our problems on field were because the lolly eater was in charge.
Bad decision making by those who should now stand down and those who supported the decision were going through a dull thinking stage.

Don't blame Dr Strangelove for us going backwards ... its not his fault. He is on fire ... after this year ... it will be 1 premiership in the last 19 years ... now you can't argue with those numbers. With leading edge tactics and old fashioned bluster he is unstoppable.

our list management.. our development.. our recruiting have been pathetic

Apparently ratts was wrecking players and his low IQ was destroying out chances with a list that had first class youngsters and high draft picks...

Even Judd's pressure point and chicken wing antics were solely due to ratts as coach frustrating the champion...

The one major mistake I think ratts made on the player handling front, was the running into the ground of Kruezer....Played him against the brutes in the ruck when Kruezer had hardly played a game and was raw...Not surprised at the catalogue of injuries that Kruezer has. A naturally gifted player that understands the game and has a first class work ethic. A work ethic that was exploited too soon too quickly.

We know the issue with Fev - champion match winner, but it was always about him - a circus show with him as the rink master. Should be still kicking goals for us, and surpassing the goal kicking records of Sticks and Soapy vallence.

21 operations over the summer, isnt a-typical at clubs. Depends on Who and what was done. Clean ups are common in joints. Kruezer probably had 5 of those 21.

there are no major operations like knee reconstructions etc. to critical players...

I am personally a fan of malthouse - have always been, i like his approach to coaching that incorporates various ideas and philosophies...

But Mick should have hit the road running with this group. Absolutely slammed them from day one right between the eyes with whats expected of them ON the field and OFF the field...

His first 18 months have been a 4/10 in my view (6/10 last year, and 2/10 this year)

And i think Mick himself would be the first to admit his poor performance so far...

As for the players? Well my view on the nature of this group over the past 5 or 6 years is well known....

I cant even be bothered with them anymore

You just tell the story Bradshaw story that way because it suits you but that wasn't how it went down. That trade was some of the smarter work they have done and Bradshaw and R chelli played their part beautifully while Voss had wet dreams over Brown to Fev.

I agree on this one (besides that Ratts made more then 1 mistake). We learnt nothing from C'Woods handling of Josh Fraser who was destroyed in his early years. People forget how good Kreuzer was for his age before the injuries kicked in. Remember how he kicked 3 goals in one qtr to help us come back from a large deficit in the last qtr at PA? I believe we smashed his development when we put him up against the monsters right from the word go.
