can some of you enlighten us with your thoughts on Fraser Brown?
I'm asking because P. Smith says they go hand in hand.
is that a good thing?

Caro also mentioned that people want SOS back at the club. She said it is unlikely though because of his contract with GWS and that his sons are likely to be at the club in the future.

Can we have a 1995 free zone? They are a splintered group who really don't like each other and have only caused heartache for the club.

I missed seeing the 95 Grand Final at the time (a coma is a reasonable excuse I think) and only got to watch it about a month after. In fact I missed the entire season as I was overseas that whole year. My mother dutifully sent me news clippings every week and I was amazed as I watched the wins roll on (until the all expenses paid end of season trip rounds) but there was always something missing for me from that flag.

I always wondered whether it was that absence that meant that I never fully bonded with those players or the fact that I wasn't quite as footy obsessed at the time but I never had anything like the attachment to that team that I did to the Carlton sides of the 70s and 80s.

Maybe it was the rise of the "professional" footballer as the game changed but if I was ever to be asked which Carlton footballer I would like to have been I could name about 30 I reckon before landing on a member of the 95 team.

I'm perplexed Braithy, but thanks.
I see some folks are keen about Tom, that's fine.I don't know much about him. Then ,this morning, or yesaterday mebbe, Patrick Smith said that Fraser brown and Tom Elliot will definitely run on the same ticket, if they do run.
So..just looking for some feedback. i have no clue about Fraser Brown.
I missed 95, and years around it, cos I was into music and not footy back then.
anyhoo..
I'm sure it will all become clear.
I do value many TC'ers opinions though.

I reckon we should invite them both on.

And a few others while we're at it.

More is better no?

How could any club compete with us if we had a board with 77 members?

We'd win every flag for ever more!

We're Carlton - @#$%&! the rest!

Pearcey could come onto the board as a frat member, I reckon there'd be more action post meeting than during

I remember a great stunt they did on Pearcey with SOS' help. A very pregnant young lady approached SOS at training and asked him to get Pearce as she had something important to discuss with him. It was so funny seeing Pearce trying not to go over to her (he clearly had so many he could not remember them all) and SOS insisting he should..... was so funny.

And what about Allen Eskander who has openly shown interest in becoming a board member at the very least ?

There was plenty of ;wait and see' actually.
If this guy Sticks has picked as his successor isn't cutting it, and doesn't have much of a forward thinking plan, watch Jack Jnr go bang!
