Totally agree. I'd ask and pay Jason Dunstall to thoroughly review every single speech of the club

Ughh... he's been on the board before, in the Elliot days. He stood up to Elliot when he started down the road of the quagmire he created and he got knifed. I'm sure you know this.

It's pretty clear he's tried to leap frog club level to clean up the cultural issue league wide. He torched West Coast and now Essendon* for such things and it's changed the game for the better. He wasn't alone in that but please don't discount his love of the CFC.

I jumped on early and then got out in about 2008. Made a tidy profit. I've been investing in renewables for over a decade. Small cap, medium hold stuff. They get trendy and then fade away. Simple stuff. It's like bitcoin right now except it's hard for the average person to obtain them. Once they come down and it becomes easier to mine them - they'll take off again. The only tough bit is having faith in what you believe to be the bottom. Sitting about $450 right now - bitcoin might come down to $10 before soaring again. I wouldn't mind betting that another digital currency will learn the mistakes of bitcoin and be the bigger and better adopted model.

Bitcoin is a crock Doc. You can't float a currency against nothing, completely unregulated and not expect these frauds and scams not to happen over and over again.

The next step in the progress of a digital currency is a world currency and more and more FTAs. Forget digital currencies until then.

Bitcoin can't get easier to mine, it gets harder and harder which is how the currency is designed. If they drop to $10 you'd be stupid to mine them, your costs would outstrip the rewards by several orders of magnitude.

And therein lies the point of my last sentence - but I disagree that it's a crock. It's rather fascinating. We live in interesting times.

There are literally dozens of crypto-currencies to choose from already. Which ones will be worth jumping on is anyone's guess.

I recommend dogecoin, created as a pisstake and as good as any other :)

Mate of mine writes for Coindesk.com in Tokyo. It'll be regulated soon enough...and be commonplace within 10 years.

Can we pay players in bit coin outside the salary cap?

The AFL need to make it part of the rules!
