People still clinging to the good ole days - started season 1978 about 1 and 5, Ian Stewart "sacked" , Jezza appointed coach and we win 13 of the next 16 and make the finals, it's not going to happen this time, our list is no where near that quality, but our delusional hierarchy still see this type of fairy tale.

In the village my grandmother owned a Chinese tea set.
We were playing with a soccer ball in her house as kids.
My cousin kicked the ball and smashed the centrepiece tea pot.
We thought we can stick it together and used super glue.
From far it was ok.
But in reality it was never the same...
The teapot was broken and no matter the glue it was never going to be great again.
RIP Carlton football club.
You've not been what you once were. That club is now dead.
No matter what they do now is broken.
Thanks to the custodians for a beautiful job of destroying.

No it's not dead.

Just needs a new board with an attitude of open accountability and professionalism.

Mind you, the longer these leeches suck the life out of it the longer the road to recovery

I think the club internally recognise that something's wrong. They cannot be that delusional. I suspect once the 150th party is over, we will see movement. I suspect they want to not destroy the lead up to that celebration, but if you ask us, they already have!!!
