What did he say?

everything...

1. Divided board
2. Board too large of 12 - got rid of 1 director for questionable investment with Murphy and Gibbs
3. President must resign now
4 Swan must resign now
5. Elliiot still having some influence
6. Visy setting the Board control
7. Agrees with Mathieson
8, Stuck in the 1980's
9. We are rabble

Cant argue with any of that.

There's that saviour mentality again which has served the club so well for the past 20 years.

I'm not sure who the best board members would be but the club must stop thinking that a couple of individuals can come and save the club.

They may be very successful business people but have no @#$%&! clue how to run a football club.

100% agree. This club has had the "bring in the saviour mentality" for far too long. Going for Fitzy would just be more of the same. Sticks has held power very closely. He has made the key decisions with little involvement from anyone other than Swann. They must both go, and go now. As for the rest of the board and management, like any organisation there are good and bad. Get rid of the bad, and keep and strengthen the good.

What astounds me is the influence of the 3 billionaires on the board. Pratt, Geminder and Fried. We have a $6m debt. These people were brought in to help financially yet what they would drop over a weekend break, they don't give to the club. Maybe because they all come from the same

Do go on......

McKay just said on Triple M that "we are not in the doldrums".

Nothing to see here, move on.

Mozzie, his name is Ahmed Fahour. It's just a spelling mistake. That's what Moshe does. It's his thing.

Until he puts his manfesto to the members, we know nothing more than the threads here and the annual report.

Same goes for all other directors

Fitzpatrick would be good for the club. He does have the knowledge on what makes a succesfull club and he is an intelligent man. I agree that he lacks that charismatic personality but it wouldn't be a backward step with him on the board

Mitchell is too old to be pres but he would a great acquisition in some capacity. He doesn't want to have anything to do with the club whilst the Pratts and Mathison exist on it.

Fahour would be great as a Pres
He is clearly the odd one out on the board

Eskander maybe as Pres

Point is it's going to have to be someone with clout, brains, connections and gonads to challenge these pricks who are @#$%&! the club up the arse big time

Someone like a Swan McKay or a Ian Herman

We can only hope
The more results like yesterday the better

It can take one or two people who can turn it around so long as it's the right people

Look at the cats
Cook and Costa
Should have named the stand after them
If it Weren't for those two Geelong would still be a mess.
It's not the white night syndrome so long as it's the right person

I don't really give a shit about your spelling. I've just noticed that you keep having a go at this guy and it seems like more than just "don't know his manifesto". So I want to know what you have against him. If ya got nothing, then say so.

The steady as we go brigade, buoyed by our "outstanding" season last year, may think the board is going okay, but we are a rabble on the field and the decision making starts with the committee. Being on corporate boards, and having lots of money doesn't actually mean you know a lot about footy, or can run a footy club. No doubt there are capable people on the board but clearly as a board they have responsibility for the current state and direction of the club. A number of board members had so little respect for club members that they didn't bother running, they were just apppointed. I am happy if some of the capable, genuinely interested board members create a ticket with some outsiders, but I am sick of arrogant business people who think running a footy club is about throwing money at players, coaches etc without any regard or idea of people and the culture that creates great clubs

The board have been the constant over the last 10 years. This and, ultimately responsibility rests with the top. That is why they are there. They should come up with a clear alternative plan or move on.
