Fahour is already on the board so he can just challenge sticks straight away.
If the others stick with sticks he resigns and forms a ticket and creates a spill.

The seasons over, no more memberships will be sold... so spill the board and have an independent review of the club and be ready to go bytrade week.

The club shouldn't be allowed to sell any more memberships. It's down right disrespectful to take other people's money for the crap they are dishing out.

....sort of like trading whilst insolvent - directors can go to prison for that

Big Jack was done for that whilst he headed up that Water wheel business

Farouh is dreaming if he thinks he is the next President - what has he done to deserve the Presidency?

Mathieson is right what he said tonight that Sticks and Swan should resign immediately...the club is just plain "hopeless" right now...

All for change, however sacking a CEO and prez without a back up plan will put us even more in the crap, than what we are. I'm sure theres manoeuvring behind the scenes to make the change happen, because that's what we do.

We need an external consultant to do a full review of the club, and provide recommendations of what changes need to occur. The old Carlton with the cheque book mentality is ever so present, and needs to be eradicated.

Helped transition Hawthorn after their Schwab debacle. Involved in the Clarkson appointment - he was acting CEO; the Hawks list renewal.

Have you listened to him talk about football? What has he said which makes you think he isn't capable?

I have to admit I've been guilty of the quick fix over the years.
I want success, I'm impatient, I want it right away.
Can't handle my team being crap, I thought a bit of this here a bit of that
there and we'll be a show. Boy was I wrong!!
It's a bit like wall paper over cracks in the wall, gonna get bigger and bigger.
I'm just a joe blow who knows jack shit about how clubs are run, but I can clearly see
my club is a crumbling mess. I don't know what the solution is but I have
Absolutely no faith in the president, board, recruiters. If they are people with dignity they will, like I have, admit WE WERE WRONG and piss the hell off!! Please!!

Well done!!

Should you really be congratulating sticks on his poor leadership of our club..

Your comments kind of contradict themselves. One minute you say "well Sticks and co" and the next you say "disgraces the club in its 150th year". Then you say "well done" again in the very next sentence...

Can I offer you a free 1 month membership of our society?

Is this club at all interested in being an all-embracing open club who respects and welcomes all, or is it just about the self-assessed 'elite' inner circle using the CFC symbol to further their own interests ?

It's a hobby for them.
It's about name dropping and access and maybe some business opportunities.

They see themselves as rulers not custodians.

They know better, just ask them.

McKay: 'We are a strong football club and we'll be back where we belong.' #AFL

See I don't get this "back where we belong" attitude -

Why this sense of entitlement?

When you hear that kind of thing, from ANY organisation, you know they're not long for this world.

Truly, the people leading and running this club are frighteningly inadequate. I often wondered how Melbourne sunk to the depths after being such a dominant, important club for so long. Now I know.

The ****ing 'Carlton Swagger' :screwy:
