Four changes. For our moribund MC that is extreme. So I am not going to argue to much except for dropping Bell over Robinson. But like some others I give Robbo and Tuohy one more week each and that gives Docherty another run in the VFL and Graham if he continues his good form.

As for Scotland being brought back why not as a super sub. It works well at the doggies with GIA.

Gives young Cripps a full or at least three quarters of a game as well.

We need to remember too that we don't know what goes on behind the scenes. We judge players on what we see on game day. But let's face it, most of us are ball watching and have a limited grasp on the full tactics of the team and the role of individual players.

We also don't know what a player's attitude is like on a day to day basis around the club and at training. We also don't know what a player's mental state is like, or physical state for that matter.

Maybe Graham isn't doing something the MC want him to do? Or maybe the MC has studied the opposing team and see a role for Lucas? Or maybe he trained the house down this week? Maybe Bell isn't positioning himself correctly in certain game situations and it's hurting the team? Maybe Garlett's confidence is down and they want to get him out of the spotlight for a week? Maybe the conditions will suit Scotland and we want his leadership? Maybe there's off field issues with Waite we don't know about?

Anyway. Good luck Cripps, glad your injury wasn't anything serious

After watching McKay on the "Blue Print" I'm convinced the MC live in the dark ages.

Harsh on Bell and Waite is a statement

Robbo still there... surely last chance

Looks like Cripps will start

If he wanted to make a statement he should have dropped Murphy.

That's a statement worth making.

Rowe vs Waite...Carlton's own landmark decision that legalizes abortion in the first 4 rounds.

We got smacked all through the midfield/onball division last week. So what does the MC do? - drop 3 non-mids and the sub. FMD

Right now it's hard to give a stuff who's in and who's out. My main hope is that everyone gets an opportunity to prove themselves (whether new guys playing seniors or complacent senior players going to the 2's).

Like to know who is going to be a target in the forward line without Waite. He has hardly been the worst player. What did we expect with hardly any inside 50 entities last week.?

Bell gets dropped. He was the sub for goodness sakes?

I don't see how we are going to kick a winning score.

not about this game but about standards for the future
waites never been dropped

too late to worry about winning scores..... waite could just as easily be injured
what was our planning for this?

Could lead, has a big arse and can kick straight.

If you want to drop big names to make a statement. Drop one C. JUDD.

Didn't get a touch last week.

Just trying to inject a little humour into all this pathos.
