Exactly. Unbelievable.

Graham will get a gig next week if he puts in another couple of good performance at VFL level IMO, Temay too.

I'm guessing they're scared it's going to be like catching lightning in a bottle - to use an old saying - and would rather let them establish some consistency if it's there to be found.

I don't get the Robinson selection at all. Rowe, even though no good who replaces him? Watson?

Waite & Garlett have been pathetic, White fair enough but Bell unlucky, especially when you see what stayed.

Graham deserves a spot more than anyone. Good pre season and good form. Why not??

Docherty will come in in a week or so.

Happy for Cripps, will be a very good player & Lucas might as well get a run.

Scotland I'm okay with. May provide more leadership than others.

Robbo will on an AFL list... OURS!!!

See, the competition have figured it out. An opposition club will get in touch with Robbo's agent and mention they have an interest in Robbo at the end of the season. That will get back to Carlton. The brainstrust (aka list management committee) will get together and cunningly decide to get a slice of the action by offering Robbo a two year deal in the hopes to force a trade. The other club will wait until trade week to have a chuckle and advise Robbo that he's not in their plans. Carlton are stuck with Robbo until 2016.

This could never happen... could it? nah. Impossible. Swanny and co are way too clever for that. Thank goodness we've got a steady hand on the tiller, avoiding all those icebergs floating just under the surface.

Who cares who's in the 22 - just want to see some sort of workable method and intent.

Surely Graham gets a game ahead of Robinson and Lucas

Lethal Matthews says on AW he would be thrilled if he was the opposing coach & Waite & Garlett were dropped.

MC what a farce
Graham can't get a game joke
Bell gets dropped when he was the sub
Robinson and Rowe get a game joke
Will Cripps be the sub
That would top things off
I hope we lose
I am going for the first time in 2 years
I rate the dees chance
Mm went to the board and said we we needed to rebuild
Not good enough
This club is [REDACTED] at the moment even though he has been a great servant
Scotland ain't the future
Lucas my god

On what planet does Robinson get a game. Especially over Graham.

Scotland (33 years old) in also sends wrong message.

Crippa is a good in but cancelled out by Rowe & Robinson staying in & Scotland getting a game puts me right off.

Hate to miss Crippa's debut, but I might be at Visy park this Saturday arvo. Will watch Crippa on repeat.

I'd be thrilled if the opposition coach this week was Matthews. He's got no idea. has he seen a Carlton game? An example needed to be set.

Great news, by the way: I've finally found an excuse not to go this weekend. I'm going to be putting up shelving in the garage.

Garlett dropped

Harsh on Bell and Waite is a statement

Robbo still there... surely last chance

Looks like Cripps will start

I'm happy enough for them to try something new.
Dropping a few senior players might actually do the trick and remind them that senior football is no given.
Over the next few weeks we'll have Graham, Judd, Temay and Docherty looking for senior game time (hopefully), alongside Waite and Garlett. You'd like to think the pressure for spots would be beneficial.
Also Robbo, for all his faults, tends to play well against Melbourne. So, I can kinda see why they stuck with him. But he's got to be first out next week if he fails to fire.

unbelievable Tom Bell out Scotland in?
Yep there's a selection for the future...
I guess Cripps will be sub and get 20 mins to get into his 1st game
MM mustn't like him because to me bell actually adds something around the contest!
And actually looks like he's given everything after each contest, there's a few players that could gave work rate like him.
As for Scotland I remember being gutted when campo left to the scum
But it opened up a spot for a young guy named kade Simpson
No offense to Scotland but he's had his run not going to win a flag with him.

I am really concerned about this week. I think we will win and win well.

The issue is we will then think all is okay, no problems.

Robbo will get 30 possessions kick three and will never be dropped. Rowe will take 5 marks up forward and provide a decent back up ruck option.

Why?? Because we are playing Melbourne. :banghead:

..I don't mind it actually.. ..hendo as main kpf and bolt and forward ruck.. ..jamo and rowe as big defenders, with walker and Everett to provide third man up and run.. ....waite and iffy are laaaaazy this year, drop them to send message, hendo will run it better without them buggering it up.. ..menz will provide another marking target, ellard as small fwd it seems.. ..lucas will run all day, I too hope cripps gets a full game right in the guts..

..first sort the selfish players, bit by bit.. ..snots will help give leadership down back as well.. ..I think this is part of a series of changes we can't do them all at once, but feed them in..

What's the difference? They're both useless.

In fairness Waite has had this coming for a while and I hope he stays there. The worst thing we can do is bring he and Garlett back after just one week.
