Yes I am cross, very cross - actually I am furious! TC is nothing but a toilet bowl full of crap. Everything is bad, everything is negative, it's a batch of honor not to be a member, club should merge or burned to the ground, all players are lazy and stupid, any coach is an idiot etc etc


TC used to be a place to discuss the club - sometimes fiery - from a view of supporting the club. Now it is more anti- Carlton then the Scum boards . You get scorned for supporting Carlton.the moderators have stopped trying to curtail circle arguments, thread hijacks etc and every effing thread turns into a Carlton bashing. A pre game thread is now based on that we are getting bashed and venting about that - before the game FFS !!!!!

Note how new posters who are positive are getting bullied until they leave. Note how many regular posters hardly post any more. Me included - today I made the mistake to read this crap and I got mad. I'm very mad. TC used to be the first and last site I visited . Now? Phhh

I don't Understand why Mick has totally snubbed off Scotland in his final year... He is a Senior player and is still Important to our team, he is far better than Mclean/Curnow/Ellard. I still rate him!!

the negativity this site holds at the moment is a direct reflection of the fan environment the club has bred. the place is a basket case and quite frankly most people have had enough. There is only so many times you can go to the well and pull up the same bucket of shit infested water over and over again - you eventually punch yourself in the face and question why?

I have sunk so much money, time and energy into this football club and i get the same steaming pile of shit in return each year - poor performances, no engagement, a basket case of a business and empty promises - I've just about had enough - and quite clearly judging by this forum i'm not alone.

instead of whinging about negativity under the guise of being a positive pony - how about actually being positive? enlighten the ones in the dark about what is so good on your side of the fence? try and spread what you've got in your well - cos our wells are polluted.

i remember not so long ago this site was criticised for being full of sugar coaters and the mods were criticised for being employed by the club and censoring anti club speak………..??

which leads me to moderation and moderators -

we don't get paid, we are volunteers and most of us have had enough, we are running on the smell of an oily rag to keep this site going for 'the people' positive ponies and negative nellies alike. If anyone wants to be a mod feel free to contact one of us and tell us why - we have put the call out numerous times with underwhelming responses.

my view on moderation is less is more - circular arguments is a wanky jargon term like moving forward and 'the cloud' - people whinge about bullying - i see little example - people keep engaging certain posters and the debate continues - if we stifle all debate what are we left with? very little conversation full of fluff and no substance - i enjoy the debates.

moderation should be reserved for kiddy porn, flat out threats, violence, etc etc - the extreme - moderators shouldn't be free speech censors.

this is a website - it's not serious business.

i hope we win this weekend and smash the drug cheats into oblivion - i can't be confident though based on the evidence at hand
