I brought it up because it's a little rich criticizing other clubs for having pet memberships when we do it ourselves.

I'm not sure why Dane. I'll still spend roughly the equivalent of a membership that goes toward the clubs coffers and still give up my time pro-bono to suggest initiatives that may enhance the club. The club is financially sound, will play the majority of home games at the MCG from next season and I'm overseas in June, July, August, September. It's all good!

Little rich?
- There are clubs who count pet memberships in their total membership number i.e. Hawthorn & Richmond
- There are clubs who don't count pet membership in their total membership number i.e. Carlton
- This is one reason why Hawthorn & Richmond have way more members than Carlton but are all around the same in membership revenue.

The big four Melbourne teams use to be Collingwood, Carlton, Essendon* & Richmond

Now according to membership data, the big four are Collingwood, Hawthorn, Essendon* & Richmond. Have we slipped based on cats and dogs?

That was never based on membership data. Carlton have been historically poor re: membership uptake

What have Geelong and Footscray got to do with the big four?

I wasn't aware that was a prerequisite Dane. But I'm happy for you to feel some sort of imaginary entitlement if it makes you feel better.
