Just had a chat with the legend. The stutter is as good as I imagined.

I get down from Sydney to most of Carltons games but alas the people I have been going with over the years have married and moved away and have to spend there income elsewhere and the last one passed away last season.

I now have no one to go to Percy's with for a beer anymore. Do any of the TCers head there before games. I am going down to most games this year again but got a bit bored last year doing it on my own. Although the Blues are my selfish indulgence so to speak.

Would love to meet some TCers and have beers before games this year.

Cheers

Gotta get there for a couple pots.

Have to take the kids for a lunch too.
They've always wanted to go into the institution.

Hey Toddy...lets meet there for a couple.
I'll be in Melb a couple of times before it closes.

Sad day when it ends

Went in there last night post game.

The usual suspect bar flys turned on each other over clearly intoxicated African hooker, loudly calling each other rapists. One of them even waved around a gun. Got the @#$%&! out, went to have a look at Puggs only to discover it had shut down.

Me and the wife went past in a cab just in time to see group of barflys literally tossing hooker out into the street and locking the doors.

That escalated quick.

spoke to a couple of the staff, looks like the bar and restaurant will stay the same - I wonder if Perc will take his 'Blues' memorabilia with him?
