In the 6 games Eddie missed last year (3 against finalists), Garlett kicked 15 goals 11 behinds. He'll be better off without him. And so will we because Eddie's absence will open up a spot for Menzel to develop and allow us to play an extra midfielder.

Daisy, Garlett, Simpson, Carrots, Holman and Kruezer are some handy and hopeful inclusions.

Wouldn't be surprised if Gibbs, Warnock, Murphy and Waite all make way.

I reckon two pre-season games would be the necessary requirement to be eligible for round one selection. I think we'll mix it up considerably for this game, before putting together a close as possible first 22 team for the Bulldogs game. Crows want the win and they can take it; it's good prep for our boys coming up against a strong, hardened team.

Sadly, I doubt Henderson will be in consideration over the next month.
