Give him some confidence but he'll be moved during the season so catch 22. He's playing well which is the positive.

Think I'd have Nahas comfortably in our best so far

You need to try this in pre-season in case of injuries to you tall forwards

I agree with Punter. Watson was doing well down back and needs to learn his trade there. We have Rowe and Everitt who can go forward before Watson.

True Mikkey, but if casboult, Waite, Hendo, Rowe all go down, we are truly stuffed. He's sixth in line down there at best. I think we're better off just pumping minutes into him at CHB.

Good effort so far. Good strength around the ball and some class from some of the kids. Blind kicking still a problem and poor footskills from those who should be better Walker, Yarran in particular. Bootsma looks all at sea. I know it is early but he has some work to do. Loved Bell's endeavour and pack breaking grunt. We are all hoping some finesse will come.

Murphy poor so far - dreadful handpass.

I knew it, contract negotiations are going to ruin his season.

Winning clearances 23-18. Maybe Warnock has been better than he has looked?

He gets his hand on the footy but the clearance work a lot of the time is done by the mids. he has a few good hitouts to advantage but he goes to the opposition too much for my liking. Wood has been in the ruck a fair bit.

I'm impressed so far.

Buckley, Watson, Everett, Menzel, Cachia, Curnow, Yarran all impressive.

I think Yaz looks fitter. Murph has been ok, he looks like he's working into it.

Be good to win to shut up some critics who think we will be 11th or 12th and that North will be super awesome.

Impressed with what I've seen of Andrejs, Buckley, and Menzel.

Why are commentators fapping over north, even before this game I am confident we will finish higher than them

Have you noticed they're not hugging the boundary line like last year?

Seems to be the North benefit show.

I was expecting him to be good. He has tapped a couple to North but that will happen.

Meanwhile, great start by the Blues. Make that 24-18 in the clearances..

Sam Rowe is sadly well off the pace.
