If you have Afl membership you can scan them at the gate and get free entry. Otherwise you can get reserved seats prior to the game on the internet or buy general admission on the day.

Is that the same for club membership?

I don't think so. Pretty sure it's AFL members only. Afl gets all the money from the gates for nab cup.

Thanks

Pretty surprised to see Thomas named. Thought he'd play the next week against Adelaide.

North have a pretty strong squad.
Not fussed about result (although to wouldn't reject a win), just want NO INJURIES and good signs from the youth.

There are no reserved seats from what I could tell.

You can pre-buy a general admission ticket on the ticketmaster website to hopefully save time at the gate,
or just buy one when you get there.

Northern Blues will be playing North Ballarat afterwards - not sure if that costs extra to stick around, assume its included in admission.

Good to see a few of the new recruits and draftees named. Pleasantly surprised Thomas is playing.

Decent mix of experience and youth in that squad.

It's players like Bootsma, Bell, Lucas, Casboult, Yarran and McInnes I'd like to see stamp their authority on a spot in the team. It's that core of players aged 20-24 that really need to take the next step for us to be even remotely competitive against the top teams. The youngsters playing is just a bonus that makes it half worth watching.

Bingo!
As long as there's no injuries and we don't get flogged, then its all good.

Feel slightly desperate...

It is live on the Aust Network so we get it in China. Not sure whether the network covers that far. It would be worth finding out because Aust Network (their website has the frequencies you need to set the sat to) covers about 4 games every week. We can pick up some of the South African sats in China, so you never know.

9 out of our best 22 out (White and docherty represent a 1/2 each).

Judd - will miss first 3-8 weeks
Simmo - ??
Kreuz - delayed pre-season due to foot injury
Docherty - heard he has missed chunks of pre-season ...not quite sure what is exactly wrong ??
Henderson - had hip surgery...will be lucky to play before Rd 1
Armfield - ???
Garlett - ???
Jamo - ???
White - ???
Carrazo - heard he is still feeling the achilles that kept him out last year ???

If any training watchers or people in the know can fill in the ???, that would be appreciated

Armfield & Garlett started their preseason a bit later after surgery. Simmo, Jam and White must just be rested for the sake of it. Never really sure about Carrazzo anymore, he missed half a season within 1-2 weeks ;)

Carrots has been flying. Like Simpson, Jamison etc I expect he will play the next game. It's probably the only real chance to give all our rookies a run this pre season.

Sister has come through with Bruce Springsteen tickets for this Saturday Night (Good ones   ) so will be recording the game for later consumption.

Or should I be posting this in the Concerts Thread.
