More drama, more emotion, more memories...there is no sport in the world that can match the 100 year rivalries that Australian football has. What a game, what courage, speed & endurance we get to see in Aust footy.

Brings a tear to the eye.

What a great game we have!

Wow anyone heard the difference in the Rex Hunt v Andy Maher commentary of the Judd goal ... lol
needless to say ... Maher was slightly more excited

Have heard people talk about Maher's commentary from Sunday but haven't heard it.
Any chance someone can post a snippet of it on here ?

The Juddy climax was brilliant by Andy.
Must listen, if possible.

That wonderful man The Wookie had posted links to three calls of the game on BF with SEN being one of them.

I need help............................I'm addicted to this clip...................

I've tried to over-come my addiction but I just keep returning and pumping up the volume when Judd slots it through.

There's about 40,000odd Carlton supporters who can proudly say they were at that game. I screamed so hard my voice was gone for about 14 hours, yet I couldn't hear my own voice above the other 39,999 screaming blues.

It's without doubt one of the greatest sporting moments I have ever witnessed.

Fantastic stuff. Mind you, I have a heart attack every time I see Jeffreys running goal. 1 bounce in about 45 metres.
Why would you?
Just have a bounce every 10 metres and dont take the risk! :donk:

I've downloaded the radio commentaries that The Wookie uploaded.

Reckon 40k was a stretch, but we made up for numbers with noise.

The moment that Jeppy went to the races was unreal. We were on the opposite half forward flank and it took a second to register that there was no-one between him and the goals.

Our bay went up as one. I was holding my son up in my left arm whilst giving him the whip. (Jeffy that is) with the right.

Watching the replay back we now realise that the game was already won, but at the time no-one knew. The clock seemed to be counting backwards. 25, 26, 27, 26!....

Listen to the buzz on the replay in the last minute. It only started to sink in.

2 hours later we're back on the bus. 12 hours later we're back in Adelaide. I still wasn't sure what happened....

We weren't supposed to be there. We were just a bit player in a yellow and black parade, but we ruined the party....

....and we're not done yet.

Yeah, and Wait pushed his man fair-square in the back - but how could you blow the whistle on that play?

As much as I enjoyed the highlights, I was thinking about what happened the next week.

Club needs honest consistent footy.
Picking and choosing highlights of beating nonsense clubs like Richmond means we are losing focus as supporters just as our club has.
Richmond is a more pathetic club than us.. as hard as that is to be its true
I heard Riewoldt say theyre going to make the four because they finished fifth last year.
That is one seriously [REDACTED] up football club who have no idea what it is to be winners....i keep telling people about them.. they will make me a believer when they do it.

as for sydney.. theyre honest..

we should be aspiring to beating clubs like sydney .. richmond shouldnt be overly pleasurable....

its like beating up on a kid.
