jamo had a few rushed clearances but on telly it looked like he probably had no one to kick too and was under immediate pressure - which probably means we were not working hard enough further up the ground to lend some support.

its kinda scary to think how much improvement is left in us yet we were in all of the games with 5 min still to go.I wonder if the open spaces of subi will help us find some form.

That's precisely what I've been saying.

We will turn this around. Perhaps increase our intensity and sense or urgency.

I just dont know how hungry for success the players are, and if there's a fear of failure.
Not individuals but the whole team.
Those that aren't need to be weeded out. I expect that MM will achieve this at the very least in 2013.

Is there any other club whose three best players have never played a game in the twos?

Not something easily rectified, but still somewhat indicative of our culture at the moment.

Well done Carrots....I haven't heard any praise for his efforts...in fact didn't notice him even the 2nd time I watched the game.

he needs to find the ball too

thats what made Ling a great footballer... shut u down and kicked a goal or two.

just shutting down players isnt enough i reckon.... u have to get yourself into dangerous positions also

In amongst all the angst, geesh, you have to recognise that the Cats are still very very good.

Lends some weight to the idea that Carlton are not far off the best in the business.

I know we have a lot to prove against Hawks and Swans, but they'll come, and hopefully we plug a few leaks by then.

He was doing it last year, did it against Selwood. At worst he squared the ledger.

if the Hawks had done this they probably would have won. I didn't watch the North game, but see he was listed as the best player so there's two games.

If Selwood gets negated last night, a much closer result.

Just watching this game now on FOXTEL - we were awesome in the first half of the second quarter.

Pressure, tackling, second efforts, Judd running both ways

..krooz going down early when pushing back hard to help out defence [2nd time he's gotten injured pushing back to help defenders {where are the others??}] certainly didn't help the cause either.. ..neither did having no proper KPF [at all] for the first batch of games..
