You know you're going well when ex Collingwood blokes knock you back after getting the arse from Melbourne.

Perhaps Loy Yang B Power Station pays more than the Blues. That'd be my guess.

I guess it helps that 'plenty' of his ex premiership mates are currently at the Doggies so the drawing power is strong.

Your post is pretty lame considering we just attracted 3 players from other clubs plus 2 from Ireland.

The team you work with and record in selecting players at the draft over the past 10 years is pretty lame IMO!!!!

Did a small child help you come up with that response.

'Is not/is so' - may simply suffice from now on.

Anyway back to our conversation............................

You said 'We are amateur at attracting players'.
I said 'We just attracted 5 to the club'.
You said "Yeah but your mother wears army boots!!!!'
I said 'It's all they had in the shop at the time'.

End of rational discussion. :screwy:

Regards Cazzesman

You defend the club to the last degree, but the proof is in the pudding at the end of the day and the players haven't delivered and the board whether you like it or not is 7 or so more than it should be run by stupid, full of shit people.

Laidley has experience, but has had his issues over the years.

The problem with the Saints was that they appointed the wrong guy in the first place. Watters was an egomaniac who wouldn't trust others and wanted too much of a say in too many areas. Thing is they should have known this before appointing him.

Geelong seem to get it right. When Thompson went they chose Scott because they knew they had a guy who could trust others, delegate and think about a myriad of things at once.

Malthouse is starting to concern me.
Getting Thomas for a start .

We have too many flashy players who don't do the hard things
We don't want anymore and we gout and get Daisy.

face it Cazz
We finished 9th this year
If the teams above us don't slide it is going to be tough finishing above 9th with
Bulldogs
North
Gold Coast
Adelaide
improving more and more

obviously Mick is going for people who he has worked well with in the passed.
Thing is our we getting the best people for the job.

Given the club's past 10 years I don't trust the club to go through the most thorough processes.

I think he should be doing everything he can to offer his services to St Kilda to help them find a coach.

Dont point the finger at St Kilda.
They're no different to Melbourne or us.

That is the dumbest statement you have ever posted. Hope your not being serious. I know you aren't sometimes Dane.
The third quarter in the Swans final is where we are at the moment with this list which as I have said is over rated by many.
We finished a lucky 9th and beat a team in the finals who crapped it dacks. If we were any good we would have beaten the Swans that night with Mitchell and Tippett gone. The Swans destroyed us then had time to put the cue in the rack. They then got slaughtered over in the West. So stop deluding yourself. We have an average team at best who play [REDACTED] style footy.

I will point the finger when its within reason.
The point I am making is make sure you get the right person by being as thorough as possible.
sticks and co don't do their homework either.
BV there werekno excuses this year other than our downhill skiing list getting used to the style of MM

With the teams I have mentioned on the way up next year will be very interesting

But don't worry
Captain Kerna and his merry crew have it all worked out

not when it really counts.
Many of our players cant handle pressure and we still have no leaders except for Simmo and Hendo.

Our so called superstars are introverts who don't step up like that Third quarter against the Swannies.

So until they do the jury is out.

So you pluck the third quarter against the Swannies but no mention of the second half against the Tigers (on both occassions) or the last quarter against the Power on their patch when Murph, Gibbs etc stood up.

Fairly derogatory comments by you keogh. I expect better.
In any case you have to admit when all was said and done we finished 6th.

I don't mind Laidley as an assistant coach.
I think he'll be a good addition.
Isn't that the subject.
