So interstate trips for me (and anyone who wants to join me) this year will be July 12 in Sydney vs Swannies and possibly the August 22 vs Port in Adelaide (keen to check out Adelaide Oval).

Happy to get the Hawks at the 'G as a home game.

I will definately be going to at least 2 interstate trips. Will probably go to Brisbane and one of the Sydney games.
Not as tough as the paper suggested, teams playing twice are Coll, Essendon*, Geelong, Saints and Port.

No games down at Skilled. Disappointing. Surprised the board weren't requesting it so they could go down with a clipboard and take notes to see how they do it so we can do the same with Visy next year.........

Does anyone know when it would be likely for the VFL fixture to be released?

Terrible draw for Melbourne based families.

Only 3 day games and 3 twilight games in Melbourne of which 2 are on Sunday.

Of our 11 night games in Melbourne - 1 Thursday, 5 Friday, 1 Saturday, 3 Sunday and 1 Monday

8 games at the MCG and 9 games at Etihad.

I do like our start ti the season and we could be in a good position by R7 and have something tobuild on.

I hope we are in a good position after half way because the second half of the draw will test us out, especially the last six or so weeks.

My thoughts exactly in relation to getting families to the game....I've signed up for a long distance 5 membership next year and I'm struggling to find 5 games to take the family to

FTA TV gets you noticed and sponsership. Foxtel...well. This isn't a good draw in that respect for us.

At least 2 of the Sunday games are away so not too fussed if I dont go but they are against the Scum and the Filth so interesting the crowd numbers.
