The Sunday game in June is in school holidays apparently.

And isn't there a public holiday the day after gran prix weekend (sunday night game v port round 1)?

I don't mind Thursday night so much as there's just one day of the work week left.

Is Rd 3 Easter weekend? Sunday game before Easter Monday would be fine.

Easter Sunday is April 17th. So no, Easter would be more like round 4 or 5 I think??

Clearly their hands are tied by not having the MCG so there's no point playing a big drawing game I guess but gee that's thin.

Disagree. I don't care about other games so much so the Carlton v Port game will be a ripper first up.

Good to see Sydney gets their usual nice and easy start to the season.

Well, it is against their traditional rivals.

Easier start to the season this year - Power, Tigers, Bombers, Demons, Dogs, Eagles

That first 9 weeks is ridiculously easy.

Last 6 slightly more testing...

Tough-ish finish

Swans, Roos, Dockers, Suns, Cats, Power (a), Bombers

At a glance, I reckon our draw looks ok.

You'd have thought we'd have been compensated for losing the second Richmond game from a gate revenue perspective. Hawks at the G on a Friday night is nice, as is two games against the Cats, but not quite the same. Large chunk of our Etihad games I'd imagine we're going to pull a bad figure from.

So interstate trips for me (and anyone who wants to join me) this year will be July 12 in Sydney vs Swannies and possibly the August 22 vs Port in Adelaide (keen to check out Adelaide Oval).

Happy to get the Hawks at the 'G as a home game.

Geelong at Etihad is staggering really. Doesn't jump out at me as being a particularly easy or hard draw, but who knows at this time of year. To start off Sunday night , Bye, Thursday night, Sunday night is pretty strange and would have to throw the players a little. How about getting a normal timeslot??

Yeah, reckon I'll go and visit mum for the Port game. And will plan to be at round 1 roo, although might be late after the Grand Prix.

I like the draw.

Not sure why they don't want us playing Richmond twice.

1 Geelong game should be at the MCG.
