Just looking at the 2004 Club Annual Report and there is a little section in the financial regarding Player Contracts.

It is as follows:

Player Contracts
Amounts contracted to AFL Players:

Not Later than one year $5,897,900
Later than one year but not later than two years $2,427,500
Later than two years but not later than five years $600,000

Total $8,925,400

Seeing as these contracts are broken up into year blocks of what is owing and in 2004 we only had a certain number of players on more than one year contracts it should be possible to 'guestimate' some incomes here I imagine. I will leave it to those who know more than me to work it out.

Could only be Kouta. But wouldn't he be on more than that?

Actually it would be Stevens as Kouta has only a year to go & can't think of anyone else on a contract longer than that. Kouta would be on more than 600k anyway!

I'm starting to collect them (managed to get 1962 and 1981 recently). Anyone out there with old CFC Annual Reports they don't want anymore, give me a PM.

So in 2007 Stevens is on $600,000. Hope he plays well enough to earn the money. 8)

So that leaves the $2.5M that was contracted to players for 2006 (remember this means those players in 2004 who had 2+ years left on a contract).

So for 2006 (players signed on contracts in 2004) it would be:

Stevens $500,000+ ??
Kouta ??
Simpson
Bannister
Fisher
Prendergast
Thornton
Wiggins
Norman
Sporn
McGrath

Would that be right? If so, how does the $2.5M split up?

According to the pundits Kouta is on a mil, that leaves a mil for 9 players or about 111 000 each.
