Hasn't Bruce nominated St Kilda as his preferred destination?
We can't say Docherty is over the line coz he's nominated us and complain about the Brisbane flogs not getting the deal done, then in the next breath say we'll trump St Kilda's offer to get Bruce here.

Deal aint done until it's lodged. I'm sure there are other clubs thinking the same on Docherty. Look what happened with Savage, he changed his mind (apparently chosen Blues) and Saints got him. Even Stevens if we trumped on a Bruce deal.

Who is part of this deal to get pick 2?

Jamo and Yaz is too much IMO.

I'd like a C'wood type deal, upgrade your first rounder from 11 to 6 and get the player you want!. Also if the asking price for Josh Bruce is #41 then he is probably not that good. We don't want to be bringing in players for a few years and then unloading them again which seems to have happened with most of our draft picks over the last three years or so - Duigan, LAidler, Davies, McCarthy, Mitchell etc. What is the deal with Bootsma? Do we not want him or does he not want to be here?

Agreed.
Let's hope they can step up and be flexible in the roles Mick will ask of them.

It could be Yarran's time to shine.

However Jeff might find he gets more defensive attention next season with Eddie gone ...

..eddie didn't play much early in the year, 3 week suspension and the 3 weeks out with broken jaw.. .... ..jeffy had his best ever half a season of form, i think some niggles must of caught up to him he was playing hindered a few times in the 2nd half of the season.. ..would like to see them both playing a lot of time between Hf and wing..

I don't believe the rumor. Boyd won't be there at two. If he is - we'll get done for draft tampering. There'll be a beauty at pick 13.

What's the difference? Don't GWS own both picks? If they wanted someone else and we wanted Boyd, they'd just give us pick 1 instead.

I'd rather not take the draft collusion risk.

Collusion? They've got 2 very fine key forwards already...they need a key back or midfielders desperately.

Won't happen anyway

Do most of you think selection 32 is a fair deal for Docherty who was selected at pick 12 in 2011

It's not going to happen anyway but if Jamo & Yazz was the option I would jump at it.

If I was Brisbane I'd want another pick or a player. Thing is - our players don't appeal to them. We thought Casboult would interest them. He doesn't.
