On the subject of list management ... Does anyone with their insider knowledge know what Murphy's injuries are/ were?

Will he be operated on and fixed, or is the issue a degenerative (ie no cartilage left in his knee etc) one ... ???

He was well below his best, and if you count the tail end of last season, he's been on a downward trend in form for a long while. Has he peaked early, or was his poor form injury based?

I kinda lean toward his injuries are degenerative, because he upped his tempo & workrate in the finals, something not too uncommon among players -- to will their body along for the finals.

Of course I'm assuming his play wasn't so bad under the burden of choking with the captaincy, or mentally soft after attacking the ball last year and popping his shoulder last year and breaking his jaw this year.

Then again, he doesn't look or act very hard.

Don't know exactly what but seems our players are mentally weak.
Goodes played a team role in a flag with a pcl that cost him three month lay off.
Our guys couldn't do that.
You have to battle on and do the team thing.. Contribute in other ways if you can't play the way you like.

I agree with a lot of what you say usually but to say our guys can't do what goodesy did...have you forgotten kreuzer on one leg in the final against Richmond battleing bravely?

..krooz is a machine, played over half of last season with a torn meninscus, fluid drained from knee on regular basis.. ..rushed back early this year from broken thumb, not many put in the work krooz does..
