Totally agree, Game.

Could just one of you Campo bashers please provide credible evidence of;

(a) Campo's contract history, and
(b) what he asked for this time around?

Without it, rubbish threads like this are based on nothing more than rumour and innuendo.
Campo is accused of pulling a fat paycheque, and when he has a bad season or two, the shades of the Children Overboard affair appear. He turns into a convenient scapegoat for the ignorant and the ill-informed.

Scott Camporeale has been a valuable contributor to the Carlton AFC in over 200 games, including a premiership.

The Club has paid him what it was prepared to spend - until now.

If he now wants to move on, he is entitled to do so - without baseless recrimination and cheap insults from a mob of faceless Neville Nobodies.

He is a mercenary. He has been riding the flower gravy-train for years. Rationalise FFS, look at what top players are paid at Geelong/Brisbane etc. He has been on a lucrative contract for years, and chooses now to play hard ball - and after 30. You people are imbeciles if you feel sorry for someone that's paid your salaries many times over, yet does not feel any appreciation for what he's been given. Above and beyond, these people are set-up for life, yet he feels he is being hard done by.

I have such a passionate hate for him right now that if I saw him in the street, I'd be only too happy to tell him how I feel, regardless of limited reaction. I'm at wits end to understand why people defend him. What has he done for the club, outside of his given duties that commands such respect. Do you think he's a fantastic role-model that bleeds navy-blue? How naive can you be.

(a) We should pick him up in the PSD and play him in the Ants all year.
(b) We should have picked up Byron Pickett and given Campo "the bump."

Walker v Campo presents itself as young Andrew's biggest game thus far. Can't bloody wait to cheer on the demise of this sod. Good riddance you overpaid, arrogant prick. You were only ever around for the good times!

Does anyone think the scum are gonna pay Campo $300k? Of course not but their offer is still way more than Carlton's.
Don't believe these lies of Campo rejecting $300k+, people make up these figures to justify being feral.

Geez guys if you dont know what Campo has been doing this year in regards to his salary and how he has been trying to milk the club and this is besides all the factors that make this selfish little @#$%&! for the last 3 years a useless waste of CFC funds

Geez the facts are that what i do know of is that he wanted 350K when negotiating his contract this year may have been higher if he was trying to milk the fact that he would be on the Vet list so that it would appear half so maybe he was angling for 450K but i cant verify that

i believe the first offer to campo in the initial Contracts was for 300K from the Blues for 2 Year contract which was eventually rejected the next contract the blues put on the table i think was 250K maybe because CFC diodnt like some of what Campo was saying.

His primary destination in the draft was for the crows at 350K which the crows told him to Piss off and come back with a resonable deal. Then the Bombers got interested and made it hard for the Blues to deal working on getting him through the PSD which he prob thought was a good idea to stick it up the club ... I doubt Sheedy will offer him more than 300K prob would want to only offer him 250K but if he pays campo more all the better then he can suck the bombers dry with a useless back pocket who plays for himself instead of the team/ Hopefully he can upset some of the up and coming young bombers who will see what a selfish leech he is and get disgruntled.. Nothing better than putting a selfish money hungry prick into the bomber den :)

Anyway Campo is prob the only Blues player i have ever been glad to see him exit the club and i agree with sentiment that he should be shunned from the corridors of the blues from now on.

Even Hamil i have more respect for though still hate his manager (David whats his name)

But he is nearly the last of the money hungry selfish leeches who are leaving the club ... I would Put Bentick ahead of Campo as at least he is blue though out and wants to see the club succeed and speaks well for the Club..

Good riddence campo you wont be missed

No i dont call Kouta a leech i believe he is payed too much but i also believe that Injury has robbed us of the any full value we would have had from Kouta. Maybe i would have liked Kouta to help out more for the club when injured and unable to play but still costing the Club 1 Million a year.

Would have been great leadership to say i didnt play so i will give help the club out i know he took cuts but i would have liked it to have come from him similar to the lions senior players / Hird ect who try to do the best for the club ..

But know i dont think he is a leech The Game.

Whitnall i am happy with his redduced new contract so yer Campo maybe the last of the real Leeches

I don't see how that makes it OK that he's turned his back on the club.

If you were married to someone for 10 years who then up and left you for someone with more cash would you not be pissed off?

Different, but same /Mr Miyagi

Eddie's tackles are very leech-like - I can picture him clinging stickily to the calf of an opposition defender - perhaps that's what you were thinking of, Wolfe?
