Seriously though, I will miss Eddie he provided many highlights in some dark times but from a Carlton POV I wouldn't have been happy with paying him anything over 350k. Maybe 400k max if that's what it took to keep him. Adelaide and Betts both did well. So would've we if we didn't lose the compo pick for Thomas. I like free agency.

Not to sure how credible the source is. If there was anything in it we would be getting a key forward, VG mid for 1 very good player, one good player, one fringe player and first round draft pick?

Yeah, it confused me when the same site had Hammer going to Richmond as well as GWS and Kruezer going to Collingwood. We would be doing well to get trade swaps for Hammer from two different clubs at the same time. Trouble is if we traded both Kruezer and Hammer we would have one ruckman who usually plays about 6 games per year.
