Get us to the MCG urgently!

Can we have so called leaders that respect the traditions of the game?

Collo clone???

Dont see it myself Surrey.
This guy is English... he never played for Carlon as a 2 x premiership player.
He would never be cited by Precy Jones as the toughest player he has ever known... (Nicholls included)
Hes much younger... comes from a soccer background...looks nothing like him .. talks nothing like him... and has his own ideas on how the stadium should stage the event. probably hasnt had a heart attack... and certain ly hasnt been CEO and president of the AFL of been on the AFL commision...... but if YOU say so... he must be a Collo clone...

Need to something about the Social club - lined up for a beer with a mate at the start of the half time break and got served 5 minutes into the 3rd qtr - nearly as effective as our midfielders were in the 2nd qtr - watched the thrid qtr in there before going back out to watch the last qtr at my seat, probably explains why I dont drink much at the footy (and the cost of a beer).....

Yeah, I'm concerned about the real issues

Interesting comment by Judd on Before the Game. He mentioned that Mick had the club change the dimensions of Visy Park to reflect those of Ethihad.

I am reviving this thread:

2001 Brisbane - Gabba
2002 Brisbane - Gabba
2003 Brisbane - Gabba
2004 Port Adelaide - AAMI
2005 Sydney - SCG
2006 West Coast - Subiaco
2007 Geelong - Skilled
2008 Hawthorn - MCG
2009 Geelong - Skilled
2010 Collingwood - MCG
2011 Geelong - Skilled
2012 Sydney (SCG)
2013 Hawthorn (MCG)

Apart from the exceptional first year of 2000 (read the thread), having a home ground at Etihad will not generate a Premiership.

Tell the Carlton Board to get their act together and get us to the MCG urgently...

If you want to get to the MCG you must all wish that Essendon* dont go belly up with infractions.

There is no way Essendon* go into the black hole and we go to the MCG... you can bank on that....!!!

You raise an interesting point.....

If the Carlton Board don't pull this off, they must all go...

Signing a 10 year deal at Etihad from 2014 will be end of Carlton for good...

Essendon* nothing to do with it. There'll still be an Essendon* Football Club run around next year and the year after that...

Moving to the MCG must happen.

Sticks was part of that decision.....the only man still there i reckon who was....

Doc... there is no way the AFL will send us to the MCG if Essendon* receive infractions and fall away.

Yes Essendon* will be around but theyre a good chance of being a phantom club.

Slim chance. They have a healthy supporter base that is too dumb to walk away.

Nobody has won a flag from PP in almost 20 years.
