So the 2010 Draft officially becomes a bust as we delist our 2nd and 3rd Round Pick.

Buckley (yet to be convinced)
Lucas (trade)
McInnes (keep)
Scotland (retire)
Duigan (keep - controversial yes, but I have my reasons)
Curnow (keep)
Cachia (keep)
White (keep)
Ellard (trade/delist)

I think the rules have changed with the last AFLPA agreement, so I'm not sure how it goes with further delistings. I think that might be it.

However I'm sure that we'll be trying to make some trades.

Yeah, that gives us three or four draft picks before any rookie upgrades, hardly earth shattering changes; I'm getting that salted slug feeling again.

Not sure its a deep draft...
and ummmmmm we can only afford Daisy as a premium....
We can however afford guys like J White maybe....

What did you expect?

Its called list management...

We keep players around too long ... long after their used by dates are up... and we want instant list change?
Not happening.. some clubs are utilising their list management.. money and spots (draft and trading ) better than others...

It seems wise to hold on to players with potential trade value and try to get a return on them rather than simply delisting them. Maybe such a strategy also seems wise to the club. We can still delist them later if we are unable to find a trade.

That's before trades, and maybe Scotty's retirement.

Pretty sure Buckley signed a three year deal when we drafted him. Might be wrong though.

6 senior players off the list so far. Add a free agent and one rookie upgrade (Curnow, Bell can be the nominated rookie).
Leaves 4 draft picks, i expect at least a few players to be traded for a mixture of other players and/or draft picks.
So can players be delisted at a later date?

The club should change it's name from the Blues to the Frog - "three deep, three deep, three deep..."

If we are lucky, i think it will be more about the club doing the right thing by him and getting him to a new club. Similar to Russell last year.

Not sure the rules or how we utilise them but I thought it was four senior (before Laidler) and three rookies?
