Unders. And I don't rate either that highly.

If Warnock or Hampson come up in a trade on here, rest assured they're overstating their market value.

FWIW - thought Patton's 18s year was seriously overrated. Poor man's Tom Hawkins in the sense that he threw a lot of undersized defenders around, and was made to look a lot better than what he was by the hard work up the ground of Jackson Paine.

If we were going to take a gamble, I'd say Warnock for Paine. We may be paying overs, but more realistically - the greater aim would be to reduce cap space, and I rate Paine.

What about (Warnock + Yarran) for (Patton + Adams)?

What's the gain for GWS? Especially if they're loading up with Buddy and possibly Dustin Martin? They're already trying to get rid of Rhys Palmer to anyone to reduce that burden, why would they want Warnock's contract?

Even if you took that out, Warnock who spent half the year in the twos and a wildly inconsistent Yarran is barely appropriate for Patton, let alone throw in Adams who will get a first rounder by virtue of market demand.

Patton looked like a massive but lumbering player in the games I saw for GWS, but I didn't see any of his 18's form.

Can anyone see him running from full forward to fullback a squillion times a game or running his defenders into the ground?

Add this to his two knee reco's and its not such an attractive offer.

GWS may be offering him up, but I'd be surprised if any team is going to give up a great pick or player for a guy with knees like Ox.

Another Lachlan Henderson (good player who became very good with zero hype) would be my hope.

With Yarran being recently linked to Dees and them in possible need of a matured ruck would a Yarran plus Warnock or Hampson get pick 2???
Either end up with Boyd or the best mid in the draft(Aish, etc)

Carlton's 1st season under MM has ended with the axing of 8 players. Joseph & fwd Luke Mitchell among those gone. Laidler too. Duigan stays.

"Patton was recruited to the AFL by Greater Western Sydney with the first overall selection in the 2011 AFL National Draft. Patton travelled to Stockholm, Sweden in early 2012 for treatment on a jumper's knee injury, and missed the first eleven rounds of the 2012 season.[3] Patton played his first AFL game on 16 June against Richmond, kicking one goal from seven disposals. In Round 3, 2013, Patton's tenth career game, he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament, which will see him miss the remainder of the 2013 season.[4]

Thanks so much to all the Carlton people who supported me and sent their kind words. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Ripped Off ... just wasn't given a chance under MM. Another stuff up by the super duper coach.

Confusing. So is Laidler counted in that 8? The article tends to say he isn't

Rhys O’Keeffe delisted.

I understand the thinking but I'm not convinced this is a great idea.
