Injuries..... the ground surface....What next? The umpires robbed us?

Worst coaching performance this year ... and thats saying something when you think about that 1st game against the saints.

If only the super duper coach would show a little amount of imagination. Its embarrassing the way these young coaches run rings around him.

I like Mick as our coach and think he was the best option for us, but he was outcoached.

Once they were a rotation down, we needed to spread the ball wide by switching at every opportunity. .a bit like playing soccer against 10 men...if we did this for the first 20 of each quarter, we would have run all over them.

Instead, we kept it in close where any advantage we had in run, was nullified

Very simple, yet we have some of the stupidest players in the league who continually bombed without looking..

And even teams like Barcelona and real ,man utd, man city fail to do the above when they have a one player advantage.Easier said than done.

Obviously by now, you've relayed these enlightening thoughts to the Club; and not just us ????

matches ratts best ever season...

imagination??.... do u understand footy???

you want us to chip the ball around do u???.... juddys kicks.. or amrfields...or bells..duigans...

i can go on and on....

not only do u want these blokes to pin point passes.. but you believe theyre capable of pin pointing passes for 100 mins do u???

under pressure from a team of PROFESSIONALS like Sydney???

team we wernt even prepared to run hard against for 3 quarters and then hunt them down in the last???

We couldnt even stay with them for 75 minutes in WORK EFFORT.. and you think were going to pin point passes???

This is not Bold and The Beautiful here mate.. this is real life!!!.. stop the fantasy shit ok???

Tell us what we should have done!!!

Dont just say was a shit coaching effort!!!

EXPLAIN what should have happened with guys that couldnt run and play against a winged Sydney outfit...!!!

The truth is were spooked when someone physically or mentally imposes themselves against us.. and we dont have leaders and everybody goes back into their shells...

We dont have skills that cuts it under pressure.. sure it looks good when there is no pressure.. but this is mid deep in finals.. there are no Richmonds...!!!...

We dont have leaders.. our leaders dont defend !!!

And they lack a work ethic!!!

Theyre bludgers!!!

So tell me your gameplan...

People seem to want to use Ratts as the yardstick by which to measure MM. Why? We have already decided that Ratts wasn't good enough as senior coach. If MM does slightly better than Ratts, is that some sort of achievement? Surely we want better than that. 9th is not where anyone -supporters, committee, coaches, players -thought we wd be. MM has 2 more years to get considerable improvement. People seem to quote what he did at Cwd 13 years ago. Ancient history. The bottom line is we have underachieved this year, and we need to see improvement in the team and in individuals if we are going to achieve anything other than mediocrity in the near future, and that is the coach'ds responsibility. Next season will be a big one. I am tipping we will set a record for our longest flag drought, 23 years I think? Can we get a flag before 2018?

Mick didn't match Ratts best effort. Almost did but didn't. Silly argument about to get even more silly. The Blues lost to West Coast by 3 pts in 2011.

Mick coached the worse finals effort by a Carlton team since 2000. Disgrace !!

nah one eliminational finals each

remember...

ratts thought port was no good and so he didnt get the job

the truth of course is port didnt want him....

always remember that... no other club would have ever given ratts a head coaching gig... just us...

one eliminational final win to show for it.. and a window slammed shut..

club are u saying ratts won 2 finals???

Or youre talking good honest bow outs at wimbledon in he second round (Aussie style???)

you can only measure a season with how deep into the finals you got...

When did Ratts ever outperform one elim finals win???

Haha this is the stupidest argument ever. Glad to be apart of it.

I have found a way that we both win.

Mick matched Ratts on deepness into a final series.

Mick no match for Ratts in coaching Carlton in Semi finals.

Letting a Swans defender get 42 touches Could be the worst tactical effort since Buckley decision not to tag G Ablett up on the GC.

As has been said before I hope the old fella gets some help in the box next year, he's seems a bit lost.

Dan Hannebury 33 touches
Kieran Jack 30 touches
Heath Grundy 32 touches
O'keefe 30 touches
Mcveigh 42 touches

They had five guys who got over 30 touches and we had one ( Walker) Hard to stop Mcveigh when you have 4 other guys tearing to shreds. You could put Gibbs on Mcveigh but then Kennedy would get loose and the ball wouldn't even get in our forward line. Front running forwards who don't like the hard stuff and don't apply pressure is what Ratten has left us. Despite what the stats say we got completely smashed on the outside and the inside except for the last quarter where Sydney stopped. People comparing our game against WC in 2011 need to get a grip. We play Paterson's 10 times better then ANZ and WC weren't as good as Sydney are now. Oooo the shame of losing a semi final against the fourth team when we finished ninth......

I know what you mean ... it was embarrassing. As I have said before ... I reckon Synbad would do a better job in the coaches box than Tricky Micky.

Its all about how much damage now. Looking forward to when we emerge from the other side.

Those stats and the way Sydney play are hardly a secret.

42 touches, a defender.

Lets just think about that for a bit.

id do a ripper job....

but if i started 6 years ago.. the list wouldnt look anything like it does now..
u could be assured of that....

39 tackles for a night.. between 22 players

find me the players who got less than 2 tackles and u get a job as my assistant...
