Reckon Sydney are getting desperate if they re talking of brining Goodes straight back in after 3 months out.
Also think the open spaces of ANZ Stadium will help our run as well rather then that toy SCG ground.

Just listening to Rohan Connolly joining Ox and Mark on SEN.

He started off well enough saying what a good victory by the Blues, but waited for Marko to say something about that we shouldn't have made it (in good humour I must add) before he come in with "gee, I think the AFL would be embarrassed about Carlton going deep into Sept" .

What flower stooge.

No flower they were embarrassed that YOUR team was found to be tainting the entire comp!!

Gerard Healy last week said that if the Blues made top 4, it's Geelong, Freo, Sydney or Hawthorn that should be embarassed not the AFL.
I would like us to embarrass as many people as we can

ANZ Stadiums football ground is the same length as the MCG but 23m narrower.

160m x 118m

That's Subiaco type dimensions.

We like Subi.

Long grass soft under foot despite all the dry weather . It will negate our speed

Nah, Goodes is a champion. Hell, i'd play him if he was only 25% fit. He's just that good!

Most players would have gone off and stayed off in the grand final last year. He came back on half-broken and still kicked a goal and a crucial goal at that!

He's danger.

Easier on our players that have joint problems after so many games on the hard surface at Colonial :smoking:

Unfortunately for McInnes, he's the man to make way. No changes other than that unless theres an injury.

Doc Larkins on 3AW said McLean wont play.

That's Subiaco type dimensions.

We like Subi.

Narrower and shorter. Subi is 175x122

AFL Ground dimensions. http://www.freebookiebets.com.au/afl_fo ... rounds.htm

Not sure we can describe ANZ Stadium as having wide open spaces.

Always gets me that length of Subi .

But the ground is still cigar shaped and the Swans don't seem as comfortable there.

SCG is almost round.

I would love Goodes to play.

Three months out. Age 33, 34 in January. Swans have two rucks already. Two KPF who can't play anywhere else.

Walker (probably) would have a field day running off him. Can't see Gibbs being put in a negating role now.

Off to Sydney, very excited. Haven't bought tickets yet and wondering if anyone has advice as to where to sit. Wing is my preference, but there are 4 categories of tickets. Sydney Blue, or anyone else, any advice you can pass on? Cheers.

The NSW Member Network is pleased to advise that there will be a pre game get together at the Novotel, just outside ANZ Stadium, this Saturday from 5.30pm. Hope to see you there! Go Blues!!!!!!!
