I would love to see the running stats of Curnow. When watching it on tv he rarely off camera. Worth 2 players I reckon. Makes mistakes but his running and the amount of contests he gets too is unbelievably handy over the course of the whole game.

Club his running is elite ... ran 9.40 for Princes Park TT. Was watching him closely yesterday (and Dan Jackson from Richmond who has done a 10.40 around the tan). Both amazing athletes ... and yes Curnow has become a '+1' player.

..very glad with our rucks still.. ..neither had much of it around the ground, but their tap skill shone out for all to see.. ..Knockers with 30 taps at 37% to adv., Krooz with 22 taps at 41% to adv.. ..i thought Maric was the best ruck in general play around the ground and was good in the ruck with 26 taps at 35%, but had no real ruck support out of Vickery [much more KPF than ruck relief] who notched up only 9 taps at 11%..

..only played a short time as sub., but i thought Menz handled himself well.. ..didn't seem overawed by the occasion.. ..cracked in when his turn, and played with urgency..

All this winning is not helping with our early draft picks! We are around pick 12 so far. Haha

Still buzzing this morning. What an amazing day it was. Felt like a grand final at the ground, beautiful weather and electric atmosphere. We were pretty heavily outnumbered, but by the end of the game the Carlton roar was enormous as well.

Until 3/4 time this game reminded me of our final v Swans in 2010: opposition all over is in the first quarter and we are barely holding on, a better second quarter in general play but frustrating umpiring and decision making causing us to lose further ground. Then a Judd inspired third quarter drags is back into the contest. The difference being that we went on with the job this time.

Thought in the first half we weren't all that bad but nothing was going our way. Reckon our endeavour and application in the first half was far better than the first half vs Port.

Was just incredible to be there in the second half. I remember looking around at the faces of all the Richmond supporters when we were coming back and they were absolutely shellshocked. By the end of the game they were eating their own as all Richmond supporters are famous for.

Highlight for me was the last goal though, Jeffrey's steal was brilliant and then all of a sudden he has the whole 50m arc to himself, I turn around and give it to the Richmond supporters while he runs into goal. Best feeling at a footy game since 99 for sure.

There were 15,000 more there yesterday than the '99 Prelim.

my favourite part was some Richmond flog .... "Judd is a dud" .... start of third quarter and several times in that quarter I may have been heard saying "Your a Dud Judd but keep going anyways!!"

Liked the Blues caller who rang in to point out that we pay Mick $1m a season, and James Hird got us into the finals for free

How about we all just enjoy one of our best wins in recent memory instead of having yet another Ratten vs Malthouse pissing competition?

Agreed.

I'm not overly comfortable with the discussion about the Richmond cheer squad members either.

Yesterday's game confirms that MCG MUST be our Home Ground.

Also Princes Park for 6 Home Games developed to 50,000. :fight: :fight: :fight: :fight:
