This is an average list with lots of deficiencies and also lots of injuries at the moment yet we still find a way to win.

We are developing a hard edged defensive style that will benefit us into the future not to mention a winning mentality.

Putting us later and later in the draft though.

The players you've been kicking all season showed once again they have heart and character.
No amount of talking shit or deflection can change that. when Malthouse goes out and wins a hard ball or gets a kick, get back to me.

Interesting. When did I ever say they didn't have heart & character?

Actually I have been quite positive about their work rates and efforts.

My questioning has been, and still is, about their footballing ability and ability to take us further even after today. Just some of you will never see, or dont want to, what MM is doing in developing a game style and culture to take us to the top.

Sorry to disappoint

interesting that Duigan has been played as a forward in the Magoos most of the year. that certainly paid off big time today.

Was playing well there by all reports & then got suspended in the 2's.. Sounded like he may have got a gig a little earlier in the 1's up forward without the suspension but loving his work over the past 2 games.

Spot on

I remember them laughing and clapping ....... that .... and what Balme did to Southby and others in '73 are things that I'll never forget. Hope they eat sh#t for many more generations.

Yep, even Mick hinted post match that players can only do what they are capable of and can't play above themselves. Let's not get ahead of ourselves like we did under Ratten.

Had they got 3 or 4 more 50m penalties they could have stolen this game

Carlton has kicked 5 goals from 50m penalties for the entire season. Richmond kicked 3 in that quarter.

Richmond were the nastiest dirtiest clubs in the 1970s.

Their 30 years in the wilderness made me like them as underdogs.

Now that you raised the Balme Fowler and Kouta incidents: nahh , I still hate em.....
