In most seasons you can throw a blanket over 6th to say 10th or 11th, and this year is no different. A bit if luck here, a dose of bad luck there.

Beat Essendon* twice as we should have and we finish above them….yet they’re universally regarded as a top 4 team.

Not sure what the problem is, actually. I agree that North Melbourne is the best team outside the eight. Does anyone here disagree with that?

A juiced up Essendon* is probably better.

Nah. A juiced up Essendon* couldn't beat anyone the past 6 weeks (except us, of course.... but that doesn't really count).

Doesn't matter how we got there, we're there. If we had beaten the drug cheats in round 22 we would have been there on our merits anyway. It's about time our luck changed. @#$%&! em.

Lucky! Pfffffft this troll's been drinking Kool aid on Bombre* Blitz..... thought we were pretty unlucky a lot of close games. Malthouse will bridge the gap next year with a few more players and suddenly we will go deeper ( at least I hope).
He thought he was getting chickens not chicken $h!t coz ya can't make chicken salad out of chicken $h!t. You can see how far we went in 2011, could be in the same spot next year. Lost we games we should have won. We'll axe the chokers.
Bring on 2014!

He's not a troll though. He pops in here quite regularly with these little opinion threads then disappears back into the ether for a few months.

Um...that's fairly trollish behaviour I would have thought Heavs... :|

Never used the (new) word "trollish" before.

I quite like it!

The AFL should have taken the points and percentage off Essendon* for every game and placed them last (as well as last in draft position).

What would the ladder have looked like then?
