you can all thank me - when I switched off I turned the tide. watched something else then came back at 3/4 time rather than subject my family to vociferous barracking. even then was cool, calm and collected - the first time I have done that.
but still reckon umpires murdered us.
but will watch the replay to see how we did it - and stress free

As a club we should say thank you to Essendon** on our banner when we run out next week.

Its only good manners :)

Wait until we win it and then get Murphy to acknowledge Hirdy's contribution in the on ground interview to us winning the final.

Great last qtrs. Murphy and Gibbs

Took the tall off and they generated some @#$%&! run instead of bomb bomb bomb.

Yarran off half back the catalyst in the 3rd qtr...

Never know why they started off with such a pathetic setup and plan to bomb bomb bomb

They must be the cats with the bass and drum?

Can't understand why we're consistently so inconsistent during games.

The first 2 1/2 quarters were close to the least competitive football we've played all year. To start the way we did with what was at stake is inexcusbale really.

And somewhow we flicked a switch in the last quarter and played some brilliant football.

To 3/4 time we had kicked 7.12.

In the last quarter we kicked 8.2.

It just doesn't make sense, haha, but I'll take it.

Yes, consistently inconsistent, like I said.

Wonder if he was injured. I prefer him on to one of the ruckmen. I've watched him in VFL finals, he lifts about 3 notches in September.

The turning point was the move of Murphy to the forward line. The big moment was when he ran through the F50, ignored Betts and kicked a captain's goal from about 45. It's the sort of thing he didn't do in the first when he couldn't bring himself to have the shot. Well done.

Gibbs was much better tonight and found space when he had to.

Kreuzer was off tonight compared to his previous three games but contested. He'll be better for the run.

That's my take on the #1 picks for tonight.

A ratten master stroke, probably sent mm a text. o

I would prefer Cas & Kreuzer period

Did it in round 1 against the Tigers.

Started with the bomb bomb bomb game plan....this week started with the extra tall and the bomb bomb bomb plan.

Then threw it all out the window - subbed off the tall, instructed them to take risks through the corridor - Yarran wing/HB. Use by hand. Play on....open the game up.

Pretty @#$%&! simple.

His stubbornness cost us the game against STK, almost lost it tonight.

A shame he can't put his ego to one side and play a team and style that suits the players from the start.

This is a run and carry team....it doesn't have Tippett Carey or Cloke.

Blame mm, it's his fault. The players decided to ignore him and go back to rattens game plan.
They rang the abc learning centre to seek guidance and got it.
