@BB

A lot of people on here have discussed the issues that go one with the Management of our club. Guys like Doc S. have a better idea of what goes on there than me so I have sat back and listened BUT I am really angry with what has happened with the direction of our club. It is a disgrace.

The areas of Recruitment, Fitness & Development have been a disgrace. How some people have retained their jobs is beyond me. I really don't get it and it makes me angry. I am hoping that after 12 months MM will now be able to properly assess the football department and make changes. IMO it shows how pathetic and self centred some people are that they don't resign.

I saw the changes that Mathews made at Brisbane in the late 90's and I am hoping for the same. It can happen quickly with the right people.

We are in the middle of the worst period of this club in 150 years and it is bloody hard to watch.

Gee, that's interesting.

So who's going to win the game today?

Have to admit I am surprised at the confidence people are feeling about this result, given the way this group has shrunk from so many challenges and big moments this year.

I don't think we deserve to play finals. if we make it, I hope they bring Graham back and give he and Menzel an early taste. I just want this season over, hopefully our clean out is limited only by the number of recruits we can bring in.

Kinda feels like when you go to the Royal Show and you pay $10 to shoot 4 corks from an air rifle. It's a rip off but its the show and you expect that.

If you suck at it and only knock over a few of the little cans the dodgy carni dude gives you an extra cork.

Today is extra cork round Blues, just hit the bottom row and you win a prize. A key ring or rubber lizard.

Then next week we get to pay another $10 and can set our sights on the baby sized fluffy toys.

Who really cares about the result as we're not in a position to make any impact.
A win would be enjoyable and a finals win would be terrfic, but a big dark brick wall awaits.

Sooner we put this year behind us and see what Malthouse and co. have in mind going forward, the better.
I for one am looking forward to it. Guess I could moan and bitch but can't really see any fruits coming about for doing so.

Think 1999. Anything is possible. Even with the crap the team has put out this year. Be positive. We might be Suprised.

Keeps the season alive.
Helps with memberships.
Finals experience for players.
Bragging rights.
Get the opportunity to beat Richmond.
Get the opportunity to finish above Essendon* and listen to them whinge about how we got there.

Plenty of positives. I really hope we make it, as MM has been keen to tell everyone, we've actually gone ok against the better sides.

I think today's game will be harder than a final against Richmond for our guys.

If we do get into the finals I think the lack of expectation might help our guys. Might free them up to think clearly for a change.

Had a dream we lost last night by around 80 points.

Two reasons I want a win:

1) Finals experience for the younger players.
2) First game live in 2013.

You know what. If we are the 8th best team at the end of round 23, then we deserve finals.

The Bombers cheated to get to 7th position. The cheating having a direct impact on two of our games.

Forecast for 24 degrees today here in Adelaide. Going to be a good day for footy and to be playing at about 4.30 the warm weather shouldn't be a factor. Let it be said we need to beat these mongrels because they'll be wearing the SANFL magpies 'Prison Bar' jumper, they're feeling all nostalgic about their 14 flags they've won at Footy Park being the last game there (Don't get me started on which Port team is which and history etc) As SA based Carlton supporter and a Sturt supporter those reasons are enough for Port to be buried in their own misguided arrogance.

Be warned: We'll need to apply the more goals than minutes theory in the last quarter because they believe they can run down any team.

Earlier this week I didn't care. In fact I wouldn't have been disappointed if north got in.

Today I really want the win. Not quite to the level of last week but still really really want this win.

Get the logic. I look at what this team has dished up this season, and don't think we are finals worthy.

Thing is, if we get Richmond first up I can totally see us beating them.

Ideal scenario would be for Us to win injury free and for Chad Wingard (if playing) to play a blinder. He's a gun player.

My gut feel is Wingard won't play for them.

Subbed off with groin soreness last week and with a guaranteed finals playoff next week I'd be surprised if Port named him.

Hartlett and Broadbent were the two who killed us last time at AAMI.

No Hartlett and Broadbent is playing off halfback. Perhaps he'll be Army's forward tag?

They all have a Brad Moran they can fall back on.
