The interest will be capitalising on the loss of Carlisle and the situation with Lobbe being their only half decent ruck man. If Kruez or Warnock can put a knee into his ribs at the first centre bounce, we'll be off and running.
The key will be controlling the midfield again. If we can get enough supply, I cant see their backs holding our forwards.
Good to see Walker back. Adds flexibility if Waite sooks it up again. Its important we dont play a wingman loose in defence and let Ebert run free. One on one footy should do the trick.

Why would you be disappointed with a Carlton that finally is showing some discipline to the playing group, not before time.

Jeff has a huge opportunity to tear it up at Football Park tomorrow - he loves the open spaces there lets see him do it.

Look I warned him not to call MM a pr$ck to his face.
and yeah, I'd normally relish blaming Mick for anything, but in reality, Jiffy probably would have hitched a ride on the same point kicking wagon.
anyway..it's done now.

I was almost ready to write off this game as no chance.

But if this Jeff's omission last week was a leadership group driven issue then we may (and I do stress may) show some back bone for this game and finally put it on the field when it counts (finally).

Although have been disappointed every single time this year - so not holding my breath.

Actually Bluegirl, I'll answer that even though I don't like speaking for others.
If there was a proper selection process, then no reason why BV couldn't apply
Unfortunately we didn't go through a process. We should have though.

Don't know why Port picked Casissi; suffered two hamstring injuries already this year and has been awful in between.

Praying we don't play two rucks.

Although last year (in the only time I saw the team live) we went the Kruezer/Hammer/Warnock combo.
Needless to say I left a very despondent soul.

Wingard almost certainly won't play for them. No Hartlett either so I'd focus on Boak and ensure Ebert doesn't get a total free reign. We'll stretch their back line with Hendo, Cas and Waite.

Same old "comes down to the middle" scenario.

Murphy is due.

First game I'll see live all year. High hopes.

Me and a bunch of yobbo Port-supporting mates will be sitting in bay 136 row N - feel free to come and say hi Doc (or anyone else at the game). I will be the tall bloke in the Blues jersey yelling at Murphy and Gibbs to harden up lol
