This guy is our biggest problem.

It all begins here...

Remember when Parko came back to coach for his second stint? He met with Sydney and us. This is all vague memory that the Blueseum can confirm properly, but Parko asked Elliott and whoever the Swans Pres was where their team lists were at.

The Sydney guy said they were nearing a flag, and Elliott told him we were cr@p. Parko chose us because we didn't BS him.

The big question is... when Sticks talked to Mick last year, what did he tell him about our list? Sadly I think we can all guess.

Trevor Nisbett from WC talked about the thorough review of their footy department they're going to go through, in light of where they're going to end up on the ladder.

Are we going to act like a vaguely professional organisation and do something similar? Or are we simply going to pretend that it's somehow all going to be alright?

Obviously supporters are feeling fairly emotional after choking YET AGAIN against Essendon*. But surely the last 2 years have made it pretty obvious that there needs to be changes at the club. Changes to our board and president and leadership of the club. Changes to the footy department (a new fitness guy, a list manager, much greater investment in our recruiting department, new assistant coaches). Changes to our playing list.

We don't enjoy losing obviously. But we can cope with mediocrity, we've seen an awful lot of it over the last decade. But we can't cope without hope or direction. Give us something. Show us that we're going to have some chance of being competitive as a club sometime in the future. Work out some kind of plan, and share it with us. Because otherwise the temptation is growing to give up on the club for a while, until you demonstrate a reason for us to come back. Is that what you want? Surely you're beginning to realise that Pratt and Mathieson money can only do so much. We're no longer the wealthiest club, and are unlikely to be anytime soon. We're being outpaced by clubs with considerably less financial resources. We don't want to give up on the club. We're just looking for a reason or an excuse to stay on. So please give us something!

Let Sticks hang around another year. It's only a year.

We can all have fun and blow the party whistles but we'll be serious come 2015........................Promise.

The present Constitution is killing the Club.

There is no legal mechanism or scope to clean the entire Board out.

I suggest everyone read the document. Its designed to promote Clubs within Clubs.

Carlton president Stephen Kernahan weighed into the saga at his pre-match function address before the match.

Speaking directly to Little, who was in the room, Kernahan expressed sympathy for his counterpart.

"I think what the clubs are saying is to try to get it resolved as quickly as you can, but it's easy for us to say as outsiders," Kernahan said.

"It's been a really tough time for the club . . . we know all the people involved, they're very good football people and let's not lose sight of that fact.

"They haven't killed anyone, nothing drastic has happened and this should be sorted out between Essendon** and the AFL. So I wish you all the best and I say that sincerely."

So our capitulation last night started off field before the game even started...

I don't know what it means to be a Carlton supporter anymore... this is not the club I loved as a kid.

Harks, i`m guessing you don`t really mean the first part.
He is the leader of this club. The buck stops with him.
He should finally take some responsibility and announce on Monday that he is stepping down.

Exactly Hornet.
Nothing needed to be said. Would Little have said that to us if roles were reversed?
Sticks should have stood in the crowd when the siren went last night.

What REALLY angers me about the club is that in addition to having to sit through insipid, gutless performances consistently, it seems that there is little way that we as supporters/members can actually make our feelings known and feel that they're actually acknowledged. It's as though the people in charge are the 'smartest people in the room' and the regular supporter can GAGF.

Sticks is costing us credibility, respect and memberships. What do other clubs think when they see Sticks and Jeanie as our Pres/VP? They see a club that is a joke. I for one will never buy a membership at this club unless I start seeing some serious effort to drag ourselves into the modern era.

Without genuine effort going into this task we are condemned to an era which will match the Tigers past 30 years. The sad part is we are already 11 years in and face many more years with no hope of success.

If this statement by Sticks is true, I want Sticks kicked off the Board or resign immediately.

A statement that has no understanding of the gravity and seriousness of the issue.

Who can EVER forget the delight expressed by the other club's presidents when our penalties were announced in 2002?

These pond scum deserve the wrath of EVERY Carlton person.
