Most know I give credit were it's due and Malthouse does "rotate" the list well. Always has.
He believes in creating depth through the list and you do that by playing players in the VFL and AFL as much as possible.
He believes by keeping players in the VFL for too long, they lose pace of the game, etc and then aren't ready if needed.
If you rotate them they keep working on deficiencies and keep up with the AFL tempo and are ready to step in at any time.
He has done that well this year with our peripheral players or players he believes are "depth players".

I have "fond" memories of the number of times young players would come into the Collingwood seniors and immediately looked like they belonged.

I wish our supporters embraced him, his the best coach we have had since parkin

Well ... what can you say ... MM is a joke as a coach ... anyone who thinks we have an upgrade from Ratten is delusional.

Somehow or other he has managed to lose the unlosable game ... and worse still ... give the bombers a leg up. Absolutely pathetic coaching ....

Where do I start ... the selection table of course ... how could you possibly bring Joseph and Duigan into the side ahead of Garlett ... unbelievable really.

Next ... does he have a plan B ... does he ever make game changing moves when we are in trouble ... he just sits in the coaching box and screams at everyone.

Why not put Waite forward ... he was getting beaten by Hurley ... why not just make the move?????

If you can't coach ... get out of the game ....   ... certainly can't inspire a group of players to beat a team that is completely on their knees ... GWS could have beaten that lot tonight.

PATHETIC ... USELESS ... MOCKERY of a coaching performance. :banghead: :banghead:   :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer:

Who wouldn't get angry and frustrated. I think we all have to admit We have very weak players when the pressure is on.

Thought he coached well tonight, tough to win when kicking so poorly for goal

Triple premiership coach, we're very lucky to have him. Unfortunately we're experiencing the pain from 5 years of poor coaching and development under Ratts and some horrendous recruiting.

Mick had nothing to do with that insipid performance we saw tonight

Underwhelming performance from a million dollar man.

Hopefully next year we are close to top 4 given our outlay.

1. He does not inspire the playing group ... if he couldn't do it tonight he never will.
2. He would rather get angry at players than make clinical moves when needed.
3. On multiple occassions this year he has made absolutley crazy decisions at the selection table that have cost us games.
4. Rather than take responsibility for his bad decisions he criticizes the team and individuals in the team when clearly the buck stops with him.
5. He has instigated the defensive bomb into the forward line ... it rarely works ... and our back line looks completely disorganised.
6. He has drained the confidence of several players in the team ... notably Yarran and Laidler ... and its not a surprise that players like Murphy and Betts have gone backwards.
7. He has a better and fitter side than last year ... and it looks like we might only win 10 games ... PATHETIC.

Need I go on ... USELESS PATHETIC joke of a coach. ... the worst decision the CFC has made since allowing Big Jack access to brown paper bags.

That wasn't intentional. I actually thought our decision making was awful tonight. Where mick Fuckedup was not moving Waite and Henderson. That and not taking appropriate action in the second quarter when he was out coached
