Now we just need them to keep their draft picks to conclude this debacle.

Did not hurt like earlier in the year, we won except on the scoreboard.
Somehow we could not kick the goals, Essendon** hung in and won. They were not the better team but made shots count.

We have too many players that choke under pressure.

nah we are just shit

they had nothing to play for and still won

have said this previously but the club is in crisis

we are only going to get worse

need an independent review now

Told ya's not to be too confident during the week, 9-22 is disgusting, umpires disgusting, give them shots in front of goal, we were just plain painful to watch, commentators on 7 are pathetic one eyed $%$%......anything I left out?

McInnes knocking out Kade so Zaharakis could kick the winner.

That was a nice touch.

Two moments proving our absolute weak-as-piss heart-the-size-of-pea ballsackless effort.

1. Yarran passing off to Gibbs 40 metres out directly in front. Shat himself. Weak. Kick the goal and win the game
2. Gibbs number 1 draft pick missing a simple shot 30 metres out on a slight angle. Weak as your flower haircut

Weak as piss. I am devastated. Weak

Why does anyone even want to play finals?

Port are a position above us and are being massacred by Freo.

We'd be like lambs to the slaughter. Better off missing and getting a better draft pick.

OK, I'll have a go.

Murphy isn't a captain's arsehole.
Gibbs played about 5 minutes of reasonable football and went missing. Watson, his man, was almost Essendon*'s best.
Warnock is useless. Two chest marks. Two kicks and a couple of handballs, one of which set up an Essendon* clearance.
Robbo had a shocker and I reckon he's gone.
Waite was well beaten by Hurley early and then had a fair crack.
Bell did just OK but lets himself get coralled on to his left side and then gets pinged HTB.
We missed Mclean.
Graham is OK but we can't expect players like him to do the hard work just yet.
Menzel was OK in patches. Good hands. Missed at least one sitter.
Casboult unsighted.
Touhy got it but wasted it. Unusual for him.
Yarran best defensive game for ever but sprayed it.
Betts in everything but couldn't find the handle.
Duigan did a couple of good things but didn't do his prospects any good.
Joseph must have done something. I didn't see it.
Curnow another good run-with role but doesn't get enough of it himself.
Hendo. Just OK. We have reverted to the kick-it-to Fev gameplan and he was double teamed all night.

And then there was Simmo.

Our poor kicking for goal has come home to haunt us again. MM said earlier in the season it would cost us an important game and we all knew it would. Now it has. You can't coach that. It's just nerves. One player misses, they all miss. It is piss weak and no matter how many you kick at PP, you have to be able to kick them on the night.

We missed Kreuzer, Judd, Walker and so on but we missed Murphy and Gibbs most of all. I don't know why Murphy can't get a kick and i don't care. He shoulod be tied down in a chair with toothpicks holding his eyes open and forced to sit and watch Simmo week after week. And Ablett who knows how to play with a tag. If he's injured, he shouldn't play. That's it. If he takes the field, no excuses. he's about half the player he was a few years ago. I couldn't care less if he left.
And Gibbs? He'd be the first player I'd trade. Day one. Any takers I'd accept a pick as low as 20 for him.

We're mentally soft and as much as I hate to agree with Synbad sometimes, he's right.

NO LEADERSHIP.

Apart from Simmo who is one of the bravest players in the comp.

Gibbs, Yarran, Betts - all poor.

"Hand it to me on a silver platter" type football. Pathetic.

That's harsh on Yarran. Close to his best game of the year. Gibbs was serviceable. The inability of the side to nail a win through its poor kicking for goal is astonishing. With every miss they believed.

It was as angry as I can recall being after a game. I hope we lose next week and NM beats Collingwood. Playing in September would only send a message we clearly don't deserve. I pity Kade Simpson. He bled for the club tonight.

Poor list. Simple.

Lacks Quality, Mental toughness, Depth & Leadership.

Years of mismanagement still costing us.

What is even more laughable is the fact that By Monday, 9th Spot will sneak into the finals and even that will be a huge task for us because it is more likely that we will finish 10th.

Port will Smash us in Adelaide whilst west cost & North can rally hard and just simply Win their last game to tip us off....

What a Joke!!!! We simply are not good enough for any Finals...

Funny thing is we had so many more shots on goal but aside from
Simpson it's hard to think of a player who won his position

Murphy's lack of leadership needs looking at
Mick says its about all leaders and that is true but geez surely Marc needs to be accountable??
When he was drafted the one knock on him other than being small, and he was pushed off the ball a lot tonight, was he doesn't hunt the ball
As a captain who plays midfield when the game is tight surely you must impose yourself on the game by winning the ball. Murphy though isn't a natural hunter. It's as of he thinks he's so smooth he can just wait for the ball to come to him

Too many spuds in this team
Armfield, Robinson two players who've played a lot of games now but who are serial offenders

Lack of leadership

Lack of Midfield depth- we had a B Grade midfield out there tonight

A number of list related problems at this club

I thought Yarran was one of few who actually wanted to win.

I'm angry too. And Murph was appalling tonight. But remember it wasn't that long ago our captain prepared for the season by going to the fat farm.
